Message stating I was going to be served, mentioned pretrial and to have me or mg attorney contact them, and good luck.

Receivd a call today, about being served at my job or home information being sent to the Sate Attornet's office for prosecute.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  The first time they said they were from the California State Arbitration Division - which doesn't exist.  They referenced bad debts and checks across state lines being a felony, but talking about felonies and threats of criminal charges for the purposes of collecting a debt is illegal.  There are no state agencies that have phone numbers starting with 855.  This is absolutely a scam, but I wish I could just get them to stop calling!

Received a call from this number saying that there was a pretrial against my sister guy left a voicemail yelling. Called back and he didnt left me talk just asked questions about my sisters and mom with their names and asked if I knew them then said he was going to issue a warrant for arrest and said "I dont care is your sister not mine yelling and hung up....."!

Someone named Mike Anderson working for some supposed law firm in NY called my work and HR dept asking me to be given a message (email) to call back regarding a pretrial case # yadda yadda. They called 1day and then called back again a couple days later. They finally reached me at work one day and started going into some speach about needing my statement on something, but i cut the guy off and advised i knew this was a scam and told him to stop calling me at work...he got upset and started asking to speak directly to my HR dept (really..whats my HR dept gonna do for you, stupid guy)..i hung up and he called right back this time to my HR, my HR rep told him i couldnt recieve personal calls (having advised them about these fraud calls ) andnd he got upset with her and asked to speak to HER manager. Theyve tried another one of my personal numbers but never leave a message when theyve called. I let my work know work know about this so they can dismiss the calls, hopefully theyll stop someday..wonder how much of theyre own time theyre gonna waste before they realize theyre not gonna get anywhere with me and they should keep on moving down the list of names theyre trying to scam.

Mark Anderson calling my friend leaving very rude and harrassing messages regarding me and threatening legal action.  The debt is  12-14 years old and this collection process by a third party which buys old debt is illegal in California as the statute of limitations is 4yrs from the date of the actual initial default. The calls harrassing  you, your friends or or employer are illegal if you tell them to desist in CA.  Report them to the state bar association, and the better business bureau, and the state consumer protection agency.  I just did so today

Got a call from this number staying that they where going to sue me. ??? for what???, because I was a cosigner for someone that i never heard of my life.

This is definitly SCAM do not respond or call them back

I got 10 calls from this number today Mark Anderson said I was going to be arrested if I didn't settle a debt in 15 minutes he will not let you talk They have called my family telling them they have a warrant for my arrest I just want them to stop calling me and harassing my family

I've been receiving the same phone calls all morning. The Mark Anderson doesn't let you ask question and is very rude. He told me I've got 15 minutes to call him back to will be served with papers. Been called from two different numbers and they keep calling over and over

Guy was very rude, he said that I would be summons. That I was writing bad checks(not true at all) that they sent me legal papers, that some how never got to me and that a sheriff would serve me. I have a lawyer, and will certainly be in contact with him.

FRAUDULENT CALL, BEWARE. Man was asking for my social security number to look me up in his system, since supposedly i was being sued. Told him I wouldn't give him that type of information. Man got very upset, starting yelling and hung up on me. Definitely, a SCAM.

Have received numerous calls from this number in the last 2 weeks.  Sometimes it is Mark Anderson...other times it is a woman.  I do not answer and they state they are filing with the County Commissioners Office and will be sending someone out to serve me a piece of paper and that if I want to alleviate the calls I should call them back and ask for such and such docket#.  Blah blah blah.

I have been getting these calls I have filed a complaint with the BBB & also With the State bar Assoc in NC They told me no one by the name of Mark anderson works for Barons Gibson & Phillips Beware of this man There is a woman who calls sometimes also

The number called me and left a message and the return number they gave me to call was 8888631918 and when I checked that number it came up as a real estate place in Tulsa ok

Received a phone call for them asking if I've received my summons yet? I replied no. About a week ago, they called asking for someone with the same name as mine. I replied, " this is he " . When he asked if the last 4 digits of my social were, ***, I replied that I would not give out any personal info. He told me about a Capital One CC that needed to be paid. I knew it was the wrong person with the same name, he didn't. I replied, " ...and..?" He said I was sarcastic and that I would receive a summons for court, in Broward County, to go to court. I simply said, " please do, I sincerely want to go to court to clear this matter up"
Received a call from the same number today. Today's callers name was " Nick " . He asked if I had received my summons yet, I said no, I've been waiting for it, where is it. Nick then said, you sound Gay! Well, I lost it! 100% lost it! He of course, not being able to be a " real " man and listen to what I had to say, hung up! I lost my temper even more. I called back, the operator answered. I went off on her, regretfully, with some very colorful words. Words that I was not proud of. Needless to say, they called back with some of there own colorful words then hung up. This went on for about 15 minutes. The next time I called, I talked to a Mr. Spoon. ( ? ) really, think of better names, it was Def. the same voice as Nicks. I calmly explained that I sincerely wanted and was willing to go to court. He then asked me to apologize to Ms. Lorraine, the secretary. I apologized up and down, left to right. I was able to talk with her in regards to this matter. As I helped her look further into the matter and my phone number and yes, I did validate my last 4 numbers, she ended up apologizing to me, red flagged, supposedly , my phone number, had Mr. Spoon apologize to me, who in turn informed me that they listened to Nick and I's exchange on the phone VIA tape and told me he was packing up his desk as he was fired for calling me gay. RIGHT! I'm sure if I called from a different number, Nick just might answer. At this point, Ms. Lorraine told me that I would no longer receive calls from her company. I told her, if I did, and again, I was being sincere, I would have to take legal action against them. She claimed she wholly understood. All this and I'm still waiting for the phone to ring again, either by them or whomever they sell my number too.
I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with BARRON & GIBSON PHILLIPS! Good luck all.

Call the Department of Insurance in North Carolina.  They already have an investigation going on as they are not insured and they are not licensed. Then call an attorney for violations under the Fair Debt and Collection Act.  They are violating many.

Harassing phone calls from this company. Leaving messages saying a bench warrant will be issued, left messages with relatives advising to tell me to pay my bills, live up to moral obligations, stop being a loser, etc. Continues to call others and leaving messages advising of jail time, warrants, court orders when others have repeatedly told them to stop calling. Horrible people. Rude and they DO NOT follow 3rd party collection practices.Filed complaint with FDCPA and BBB.

Was the girl's name Heather Williams?
I have gotten about 10 of these calls...It is pain.
How can they keep calling, and they try from different numbers too.

My mother just received a voicemail from the same attorney's office. What's convincing is they rattled off my personal info and threatened me with check fraud?! This is the second string of harassing calls I received. From 2 different "attorneys" referencing the same debt! This 1 is supposedly located in SC. I will be contacting the state board there to investigate how legitimate they are
