Received a call from an unavailable number and was instructed to call this one. Upon calling they mentioned getting served paperwork and wanted to reschedule. I was given the option to settle out of court today or go to court and have my paycheck garnished. Needless to say I had a call similar to this one a few months ago and it turned out to be a scam after googling the phone number.

Guy called  said they were going to serve me at my home and to call back or I was going to be sued. He didn't leave a company  name just a fake court case number

Guy called left a message leaving only a first name and a docket number. Returning his call before giving him my information asked him what his company name was he stated Norwood&Steele out of California and Texas. (Googled both, no such company!) told him my findings as we were one the phone, he persisted to scream at me 'if your going to playing [***] games don't waste my [***] time' Clearly unprofessional! Clearly a scam! The sad part this was the second time I had called, the first time being nieve I gave him the docket number and he gave me way too much of my own personal information so clearly this scammer is doing his work! BEWARE!

Received a call from attorneys Norwood & Steele, called back very shaddy people. Don't give personal info.

Bogus company! A total scam but they are able to acquire your information when you call them back.  Beware

Received a call from "Ben Murray ext. 309" from this number. He claimed that he was calling in regards to an account that was suing me for non-payment. He even went as far as giving me a docket number. What this idiot didn't know was that I already had OFFICIAL paperwork from the company he was calling about that proved the account was settled...years ago. He told me to call back or a deputy was coming to my house within 90 minutes to serve us court papers. HILARIOUS!! I called him back and informed him that my "financial accountant" wanted their businesses address so that we can mail a certified check(joking obvisouly). HE FLIPPED OUT! hahaha He was so rude and nasty and would NOT give me the business address. He said I now had 30 minutes to pay or a deputy was coming!! hahaha that's funny because we live in a small town and know the deputies. What an idiot! The "docket number" was so stupid as well. It was the first sign that it was fake bc it looks nothing like a real docket number. DON'T let these ignorant thieves fool you.

DO NOT ANSWER if this number calls your phone. It's scam! I was contacted saying that I needed to contact them regarding a case and that they were going to serve me to go to court unless I paid them the amount of $2208 in full. The person who contacted me was a "Tyler Pittman" and directly delt with a "Beau Reely" after the initial voicemail that was left. Beau then proceeded to threaten and harass me for over a week, calling my place of employment, threatening to serve me at my place of employment, threatening jail time for  a "misdemeanor class 3 theft" for a credit card  etc. After doing some research I found out that the company that he provided me "norwood and steele"  does not exist.

I received a call from an unknown number informing me that they were trying to serve me papers, and to call this 856-315-5087 number. From there I spoke with Ben Murry, maybe Ben Murphy? Anyway he informed me that my old credit card account had been sold and I needed to pay him $940.00 or else I would end up having to pay close to $1500 if it was brought to court. I never knew that the bill had already been taken care of years ago, so of course I went ahead and paid the $940.00. Never received a receipt, so I called yesterday and he emails me my receipt and I see the name Norwood and Stihl, a complete different name than he told me in the first place. I'm glad I looked it up online and found this, so I could call my bank and put in a fraud incident report and get my money back. It's sad that people like this will take advantage of people.
