Called from a local number then had this as a call back number. When I questioned who they were they gave me a company I can't find any information on and got defensive when I said it was a scam.

Call stated it was second attempt to get a hold of me. Rattled off a case number and demand that I call him back. His name  James Anthony. On my phone it shows the numbers of who called. That number does not show up. No company gave was given.

I received the same call, just received a second one today. Also by Anthony James. They also called my mother and brother; mind you their numbers are not even listed under their names. When asked what company by my brother they had hung up. They knew my age but referred to me by a name I have never gone by. I have not called them back.

A palm springs number called me.  I didi'nt answer.  Then called my ex husband and said he was my emergency  contact. Gave this information to my ex to call them.v It was Anthony James 18553274214 X 303 Northwood Firm.

Same thing happened to me 4 minutes ago thinking it was scam.... but wrote down the number 855-327-4214 Norwood law firm.

The company is not a scam y’all,there with Northwood llc and they are legit and sent me paperwork on the matter and it all checked out.the reason everyone thinks there a scam is because legally unless your the party there looking for they cannot disclose to much information about the call to a 3rd party.i liked Anthony James he was really helpful.

"Anthony James" called me twice, rattled off some number saying it was a case number, and said it was in my best interest to call back.I called back, gave that same supposed case number and said I was an attorney representing "my name" and would like to speak to Anthony James. I was hung up on. This is a scam people.

Looks like we missed a shill back in February. Logically, since she received paperwork from this guy, she would have no reason to look up this phone number.

They called me as well. Did you confirm it was a scam? I see one person here said they sent them paperwork ?

They are a scam and I would report them immediately to the FTC. They have a file on them and I am finalizing my complaint

Called me left messages with some case number . never called back i know its a scam. The same thing happened to me before with a different person saying they were going to show up to my job blah blah blah. Well I waited no one ever came. 🤷

I received a call from an Anthony James and said he was looking for me and gave my age.  I am not sure why that was necessary but left a case # and a call back number.  Could really make out who he was calling for but I would bet it is not legit.

They don't even say what company or enterprise they're calling from, that reeks of illegitimacy. You claim that they're "legit"...if so, what was the matter about concerning you?

This number called me on my cell and when I asked who he was with, he said it so fast I couldn't understand.  The number called again and I sent it to voicemail, the message he left sounded like he was threatening me.  He then called my WORK number (from what I understand, legally companies cannot contact you at work unless you have given them permission) and again I sent to voicemail.  The message again sounded like a threat and he never said the company he was with.

Then why did you not post in that number instead of the thread dedicated to calls from or to 855-327-4214?  Also, anyone that thinks that a University would call them up out of the blue to offer them a "scholarship" needs to learn some street smarts.
