I just don't understand why this number calling with the wrong name

i just got a call like this today of course I didn't answer bc I don't answer "unknown number" callers. Saying they are going to take me to court and stuff. Even knew the last four of my social and offered to wave the interest fees to that totaled over 800 dollars down to $336. I threw an absolute fit and he couldn't wait to get off the phone with me!

Who is this company?  I too received a call today and i do not owe anyone $ but they are saying a court order in "" county issued today.  Totally ridiculous!

Yes got a call for this company says I owed money on a pay day loan.  Now my exhusband did take a pay day loan out in my name with the company the said the represented but I had paid it off to get it off my credit and had a letter stating that.  They still said they were going to take me to court that the company I had paid was the fraud.  I offered to fax them a copy of my letter and they said they did not have a fax machine.  How do people do this for a living and sleep at night?

A Ms. Page called threatening to take me to court for a payday loan I dont know anything about. As well got very nasty while on the phone., Once i had my lawyers to call, the lady hung up on us which still was on a recorded line and stated "We'll see you on your day in court. SMH

I received a call from Josh Stevens  from  CFS on June 2 around 10am claiming that I owe money on a payday loan and they also called my mother and brother as well claiming that they are going to take me to court SMH. When I called them back and told them this conservation was  being recorded they became very rude and aggresive  on the phone to me and hung up and they couldn,t provide proof of this loan and refuse to send me any documentation but offered a settlement for $800 then $500 so the case would go away!

Call from this nbr...a ms Ashley king. Called it back left a voice message that I will report it to attorney general in okla.
