Person with a heavy India accent stated he was calling about a home warranty program.

This actually came up as an international number with a 01 in front of the phone number.  It is directenergyprotects.com and they are selling warranties.  They are affiliated with Benjamin Franklin plumbing, One Hour Heating & Air, & Mr. Sparky.  I verified this with One Hour as I was concerned my information had been hacked.  There is no online information connecting these people and I was never told that these people would be given my information.

Anyone legit would not do crap like this they called my business this morning around 11:30 we dont answer these type calls so these asshats called 7 times in a row

Looked this harassing number up;  a couple of things things stood out - one: it was bought up in a block of numbers by Russians. And two: Who in their right mind would call a at 1 pm on Thanksgiving?

I don't answer any 800 (888, 866, 855...etc) Toll Free numbers/ calls anymore.

Update: These twits left a message. An Energy company that we don't deal with wanted us to update our credit card information. Nope. I don't think so.

I was also skeptical  as I had my whole house re-piped. Benjamin Plumbing did good work.  Was told our maintenance contract was in need of renewal. After checking our files they were correct. Arranged to contract with them. 2-1-16.

As of today, Feb 3rd 2016, this was a recorded message from DirectEnergy, a legit home warranty protection plan for One Hour heating and cooling. You pay a small monthly fee and then you get one free heat and one free a/c tune-up per year, and then you also get huge discounts on repairs. They directed me to call another 855 number to update my credit card info on file, which really is about to expire. Today this call was legitimate for me. It even gave me my Policy number in the recording.
