855-334-3847

I received a virus warning on my computer that said all my contacts and financial info was being stolen and to call Apple at 855-334-3847 immediately.    I hit the "OK" button and tried to close.  It would not close and had to go through the process of Force Closing several apps.  Computer would not shut down until they were al closed.   I looked up all Apple numbers and this was not one of them.   Obviously I did not call it.

My IT guy at work says the first thing you do is immediately disconnect from the internet.  Anything you click on is an automatic "yes".  Once you disconnect, they cannot download anything into your computer, then you can get out of it because the source of the malware isn't receiving communication from your computer.

It said I had a virus on my computer and it scared the living crap out of me because I just got my new chrome book and I thought that they might be the virus and so I looked up this and here I am I am so scared so please someone help

Got this alert from 855 334 3847 after shutting down because of #855 4664966. Has to be same scam.
