called for student loan payments, mine have been paid off since 2006 ....scam!

Got the same call from 855-334-5536  Brad Miller of IMG Group for student loan. Paid my debt 10 yrs ago

Brad Miller - important business matter! The number came up as a local number but he gave this number to return the call - total scam

They called asking for someone I knew. The male stated it was Brad miller from ING group and to have my relative contact them right away.

They made threats to my elderly mother. They upset her and my father. Student loan debt collector. Bullying at its finest.

Called my spouse looking for me.  I called back rang for about 15 times.  Women named "Caffrey" gets on the line and states she needs my DOB and address.  When I ask who she is representing she says "IMG" I ask what is IMG? She states she cannot talk to me until I verify my information.  I verify my address (refused my DOB)  by letting her tell me what my address is and she says please hold I am getting a representative. LOL New lady named "Tracy" comes on the line stating that she has to call me back?   She says "Mrs. Holbrock, I am going to need to call  you back...to which I state to her, "well good considering I am not Mrs. Holbrock maybe you all can try to scam her instead of me".  I explained that  I am reporting them to the authorties and recording this phone call as we speak.  She hung up.  Why do these people think this is ok?

Called asking to speak to me with my full Government name I asked what was it regarding and she ignored me and rattled off a call back number and a reference number. Said something was sent to her office regarding me and was connected to my name and Social security number and that processing starts tomorrow. Would not tell me what or from who.
