My caller ID says it's an international #.  I have gotten 2 calls from this number in 2 days, both the same.  It's a recording from someone introducing herself as Jennifer Baker and saying she is confirming delivery of a faxed order to "the address on file" for [computer voice recording of name here].  The person's name was a former employee who worked for me years ago.  The recording goes on to say this is the second attempt to reach the person, to call her back on the same number so they can proceed to deliver the requested documents.
I called back out of curiosity and a live person answered and said "Legal Department, this is Busby.  How may I assist your call?".  I told him I had a wrong number, and hung up.
Seems like a skip tracer or something like that.

I don't answer unknown numbers on my phone. So I let it go to Voicemail. Here is the transcript:

"Hello. My name is Jennifer Brooks. I am calling in reference to a fax order for delivery to the address on record for (computer says my name) **** ****. This is the final attempt, please return my call as soon as possible for proper delivery of these documentation, at 1-855-334-5624 regarding this matter."

Called the number back using a caller ID spoofer. A woman answered the phone. I had to ask her several times the name of the company. She finally told me the name was "UVS Pre-Litigation Services."

I asked what her company was licensed to do, and she stated they "they handled legal matters in your county before they go to court to try to settle the issue."

I then asked for a corporate name and number and she stated that "Due to the nature of our business, we do not give out that information." I told her that by law, if she is asked for corporate information, she must provide it. She stated that she "couldn't give me information she did not have."

I asked for a supervisor and she told me that the supervisor "would tell me the exact same thing."

I was placed on hold for about 30 seconds and then the call disconnected.

Called back, same woman answered. Told her she was just speaking to me and I was disconnected after asking for a supervisor. She then told me the "Supervisor was in a meeting and unavailable."

I asked when the Supervisor would be available, she stated: "probably not until tomorrow morning."

I received the same robocall, 2 days now, I regretably called them back the first time, and they said that I had taken out a payday loan and was going to be arrested, when I declared that this was a scam she then proceeded to call me a thief and a cracker.

I keep getting calls from this #; same recorded message as listed above...so I went to the dollar store and bought an Air Horn..... I've been calling them back all morning and blasting it in their ears....I'm having so much fun with my revenge...LMFAO!!!!

Oh my gosh. I received a call as well. Except the first time they called it was to my 15 yr old daughter. I then received a call the next day. The lady that answered was rude. I am such an idiot I am currently trying to clear all my debts and I actually authorized a payment. I was busy with work and wasn't able to do any research well I went to check my report today and I have nothing on it for the amt they stated. I also found out some other thing. I immediately called my bank but they cant really do anything at this time because the payment is still "pending". I am going to be going to close out all my bnk accts.

Calls me everyday, same recorded message as all of you and same thing when I actually talk to them. I have told them multiple times to stop calling and now they are calling family members. Sad part is, this is a debt that my ex had before we even got together. But since my son (12) has the same name, I guess they think I am lying. I have now filed with my attorney.

These rude people claim that they are debt collectors for pay day loans.  They call the wrong people who may have the same name.  They obviously don't do the proper thorough search to ensure they have the correct person. Then they make threats even when you tell them they have the wrong person. We are looking into filing a class action law suit against the company when we gather all the information .

Same as other scenario regarding unpaid payday loan. When someone knows tbe name oc your bank it seems so real
