This number came up on my computer as a number to call with code B2957E, my computer is frozen. It's a hack on mine.

Got this number when a popup blocked my website and froze the operation.  It is supposed to be security and they actually told me it was Microsoft security when I called it, but have been through this before.  People it is an out and out SCAM!

EXACTLY, they just hit my computer, it was frozen.  I have been through this before, I actually called them back and they told me they were Microsoft Security, but seeing that I have Google Chrome I immediately told this lying POS the bottom line.  SCAM!!!!

I received a virus on my computer and when I called the number, They responded as technical support, the same scammers who have been calling me all last year on "unknown" telephone number.  I also believe that they received most of their information from IYOGI when they fell apart after microsoft sued them.

Did you allow them to remotely connect to your PC? If they remotely connected, you'll have some REAL ISSUES and will need to see a brick and mortar PC repair shop and in addition assume your identity was stolen.

You probably did not have a virus, just a pop up window that you should not click on. To close a pop up depress ALT + F4, or close it through your Task Manager. Then do in-depth A/V and Malware scans to be sure you're clean.
