- JohnJust a scammer trying to get money or info. Do not give them any info and ignore them. They will try to pretend as many different institutions but if they were legit you would have received legal paper work thru the registered mail for any issues. Don't fall to their scams.

- Carol D.This woman called me saying I took out a payday loan 5 years ago with JD Marketing and that I had to pay. I explained that I would pay once I received verification of the loan, who they were, and who the company was she represented was. She accused me of being "argumentative" and that she was trying to avoid going to court. Out of court they would settle for $450 but if they proceeded it would be $2400. She said they WOULD NOT send me any more verification until I set up a payment. I told her to send me to court because no one in their right mind would pay something without verification. I called back to ask what her company name was she said UBS, it doesnt stand for anything and if I wanted more information I had to figure it out on my own.
I spoke with my husband and he received the same call about two weeks ago with someone threatening to show up at our house or place of work. He took out ONE loan a few years ago, but we have proof it was paid off. This is a scam.- Caller: Beverly Sims

- BigAThis is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this, all for an alleged or nonexistent debt. One of the tricks they use is to call your work place repeatedly in an attempt to shame you into paying. They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I already spoke to them a few weeks ago & reported it to the police except they can't really do anything which makes me mad! I blocked the number on my cell phone but keep getting the calls. I will be calling my cell provider today to see if I have other options. They also called my job this morning but blocked the phone number. They still left me a message. They need a good address for delivery. I won't be calling them back.
- TLScam! These people have been harassing me for a year. They will threaten to have you thrown in jail, or serve you court papers, either at your home or job. They have lots of personal information which makes it seem real. At first, I did think maybe I was a victim of identity theft but after speaking with my bank and doing some reverse phone number look ups I figured out this is definitely a scam. They call from different numbers with different area codes. Even called and told me they were with the local court house where I live and when I researched the number it WAS for the courthouse. I called and spoke with someone who verified that No MAN had been in the office or used that phone. Meaning they are able to use an app to make it look like they are calling from a different number than they are. My first call with them I was threatened with felony warrants being issued. Now 1 year later they just want to serve me with court papers. I tell them to tell me where they are and I will gladly come pick them up and they hang up. Do NOT give these people ANY information. SCAM
