- LINDA BEEWhile on a website, I got an invading screen with a voice telling me to call the above number because my pc has a virus. They say they are calling from tech support, saying my hard drive will be deleted if I close the page I was on. This sounds like the calls I get frequently from another number (which I don't answer). They leave messages that my pc has been red-flagged.
- Caller: tech support
- Tom R.| 1 reply@Linda Bee: An older friend of mine just called and said she got the same message that you reported here. In her case, this happened on a MacBook Air computer while she was on the Breitbart website. I'm curious if you were also using a Mac computer; and if this message popped up for you on the same website (i.e., Breitbart). If you see my posting here, please reply with any additional details you have. I'd appreciate it.
- Roger a replies to Tom R.Same message on my mini mac while in safari. Had to force quit. Same message when restarting computer. So, can't use safari
- PatI received the same pop-up message saying my MacBook Pro hard drive would be deleted if I closed the page and access to the internet is blocked. I can't see what web site I was on. However, I know it was posted on Facebook.

- Bill Gates| 2 repliesThis is a scam pop-up that tries to scam money out of you with fake notice. Go in to task manager and close your web browser. You do not have a problem! This is a scam!
- Jeanie replies to Bill GatesThank you so much. Perfect advice. Other response told me to download/run a program to delete this scam/virus. I did not trust them. You're the Best!
- Becky replies to Bill GatesThank you for your advice! I'm not tech savvy and I have been scammed in the past. Called the number but hung up before the 1st ring bc I got a bad feeling!
- Antonio| 1 replyI got a zeus message also on my laptop. I called thinking that I had problems, the techs were Indian and kind of showed me my problems. But when she told me to buy a 259 dollar program I hanged up on her. Haha!

- BigA replies to AntonioHaha? They accessed your computer, so the joke is on you. They got all your information, passwords, bank account info, contacts, and anything else that might have been on there. They installed malware such as keystroke, viruses, spyware, or maybe even ransomware that will pop up in the future.
- JuneCalled number realized it was scam. It was a software I add for a new driver. They wanted to remove and was going to charge realized it was a scam and hung up. I removed the new driver and having no problems. Said to go to control panel and look for unusual software. And remove it. I kept getting pop up one of my drivers was out of date. They said to call this number for Microsoft tech.

- JohnnyBThey've called twice today. Each time they don't leave a message. I don't even own a computer. From what I can tell from reading the notes above this is some sort of PC scam.
