I got a call from this number from a man stating he worked for an attorney and there was a judgement out for me in the amount of 2,000.00 some odd dollars. This was over a past debt that i did owe but had settled several years ago. I think it was any way. I am not sure if this is a scam or not. He said if I didn't pay I was going to be taken to court.

I got the same call I called back and was explained everything  they are very helpful they excepted my information and was rude nor intimidating like others that have called my phone. they have really help to get me out of the debt that I am in and  I have received all my documentations in regards to this  matter and have been informed that its the end of the debt journey I have been on they also provided me info on another company that can help me with securing my information life lock is the company name and they are very help full as well check them out if you are a  victim of fraud as well or just want to protect your identity  hope this was helpful

Claims to be Western Litigation.. might be a spoofed number..

Obtains family and friends phone numbers - harrases via family and friends.
Discloses private information to family and friends when leaving messages at their line in violation of Fair Debt Collection Act.
Threatens to garnish wages, send police, and if you do not pay them right then and their oooooh they are so taking you to court to sue you and collect more fees and then attorney fees on top.

I suspect that this is a pay-day loan or third party collection agency posing as an attorney office making threats. Any major law firm would know better than to threaten people into paying in such a fashion..

Again I suspect spoofing of caller ID... and a scam. Please read the present legal case before the courts at Consumer Financial Protect Bureau web-site regard HYDRA FUNDING and their many many shells and alleged (sigh sigh) illegal practices, fraudulent loan docs via purchasing data from companies sell it... BECAREFULL
