Called me two days in a row from a Michigan number (734-328-1155) stating they are calling for James City County, VA looking for a family member. They gave me a file number and 855-339-2245 and told me to have this family member to call them back. When they called the second time I told them I knew this was a scam and hung up they called me back and left a nasty vm saying they know where I live and that my name would be associated with this problem and would become a matter of public record. First of all they weren't looking for me so why would my name be associated with any matter they are calling about because I refused to speak with them? Second of all if calling on behalf of James City County why are they calling from a Michigan number and then leaving an 855 number as the call back number... all sounds a bit fishy to me...
