- PISSED OFF replies to alisha| 4 repliesYOU ALISHA, are working FOR UNA... there a joke, a scam and harrass people. If you cannot collect under the FDCPA guidelines, you shouldn't be collecting.
- pissed off| 3 repliesThe company said I owed a payday loan,2 YRS. AGO.THAT THEY WILL TAKE ME TO COURT, WITH A SUMMON AN NORTH CAROLINA LAWS ARE QUICK TO PUT YOU IN JAIL.I STARTED TO PAY, BUT IT DIDNT SEEM RIGHT.IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO
- Slim replies to pissed offA phone call from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.
The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:
* Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money. ["Written" means snailmailed ... not emailed or texted]

IF you wish to communicate with the supposed collector / creditor, visit the following page, for example "Action Letters" to snailmail:

If you KNOW you owe no money, or believe the call was from a fake debt collector, please take the time to read this:

Is this real? Pls advise..
- MJG replies to So upset| 2 repliesDemand WRITTEN proof delivered by mail or a server. Do not accept the "We mailed it but it came back" excuse. Phone (faxes & emails) calls mean NOTHING!!
- So upset replies to MJG| 1 replyThanks.. But I fell for it and they got my card information.. so I should call my bank and cancel this. I'm wondering how they got my family's number and they harassing them. [***] scammers people..
- CRWI received a phone call from this company attempting to reach my ex husband. We've been divorced for 18 years, and she didn't have very clear and forthcoming information about why she was attempting to contact him at my number. I had to ask specific questions to get more information than just a phone number to return the call. I'm very suspicious of anyone that it is like pulling teeth to get enough information to pass along a message. Appears from the other comments that this is a fraudulent attempt to collect debts. I suggest everyone read up on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

- girlie replies to So upsetmy mom received a call on her cellphone saying that they have a case against me called "home complain". wth... are they running of ideas on what to tell people??? these are scammers and they need to be stopped. i dont know either how they got my mom's number but i guess they have a way on getting all info somehow. ive learned my lesson that if ever i get a call to search first.. and NEVER give your personal or bank information to someone you dont know unless they send you a written documents or its from the COURT....
its really sad all these people trying to scam everyone who is trying very hard to work for a living. - girlie replies to pissed offthe only way they can put you to jail if they have it in writing and you received actual documents from COURT directly. and if they do, go directly to court and research. do not give them your info over phone. tell them to mail you documents, contact #, person case ,etc... if they refuse report them to BBB and police asap.
- heatherI have received calls from this numbers from this number several times a day for months. The caller always says that there is a case against my social security number, and I must reach them before the end of the day or they will serve me papers at my place of employment. I don't know what case they are talking about. Several times they have left messages at my father's house, which really upsets him. I want these to stop. I thought if there was a case against you, a registered letter is sent or a constable tries to deliver it. These callers also claim that they have tried to serve papers to my home address but they were refused. This is impossible. My husband was hurt in an accident, and is home all day. Any advice??? Thanks.

- LynnThese callers are calling my main desk at work for me, they couldnt tell me correct information and i immediately hung up! They literally called right back over and over and over and over again! Idk what this is about, they make no sense,Scams, thats what this is. Why do they never show up? Why is the number always on sites like this and not listed as any buisness. I could of done a better job labeling my number for crying out loud. They should know better that people arent going to believe whatever the case is. and why does some sound american and then sounds foreign and how do you hang up and not even a second goes by and they are calling again sometimes a different person? They should not be aloud to call your place of employment, that looks so bad meanwhile its all false harassment:(
