- JakeThe numbers 1-855-343-2827 & 1-888-603-7374 Are scams from a Chinese company. They call you once, refer you by name and then hang up. You call the number back and they try to get all your info as much as your willing to give, but they will not tell you why they called nor tell you what company they are part of. I have filed a complaint against them with the FCC and have been advised to avoid contact with these numbers.
- Caller: N/A
- ChloeCalled and said it was a guy named Steven from the Grand Company and I hung up immediately. Some kind of scam.
- Caller: Grand Company
- WH PlumberCalls, leaves no message. My phone is set up so if the number is not in my phone directory, it will not list who is calling.
- JThis number called me, I could hear some sort of mumbled talking in the background, they breathed into the phone and then proceeded to hang up.
- KRJust rejected a call from this number, and they left a VM. It sounded like some drunk guy, who was alternately singing to the radio in another language and mumbling something about 'Customer Service'.
- Caller: Unknown
- callyourmotherAs mentioned above, they called, couldn't understand them a few times and then referred to me by name and they hung up.
- OtherEffinPeopleWeAreEverywhereTwo calls in two consecutive nights. Both verging on too late to be acceptable in the first place. Didn't answer either time. Left vm both times. Music in background and nothing else the
first time. Second vm lasted nearly two minutes. Music in background and multiple voices. Not English ( except one word "SPEAK!" ). And uncertain of exact language but definitely some Asian language being spoken. Blocked the number but sure would like to know wtf ..and how to make all these various annoying unwanted calls STOP... let me know when THATS a real option
... ( without blocking out the whole world of people I'd like to hear from whose numbers may change Without my knowledge.... etc)
Til then ... rule of thumb : if I don't know who it is, I don't friggen answer. If the vm doesn't make sense, I don't call back. If they're speaking a foreign language and I can hear seven other people yapping in the background ... BLOCK EM. .. rinse... repeat.
But don't feel discouraged my fellow annoyed phone having everyday citizens... you are not alone! Together, WE are OTHER PEOPLE. And we are effing EVERYWHERE!!
WE outnumber THEM. And no matter where you go, OTHER PEOPLE will be there too. Call upon them. Only together will we change what must be changed! WE ARE ALL OTHER PEOPLE. Do not dismay! We are everywhere. We will prevail!!- Caller: Unknown Asian telemarket
- EhThey called at 8:50 pm so it can't be an important call from a serious company.
- Caller: I didn't answer to find out
- KayGot a call from a "Steven" claiming to be from a local travel agency in my home town of Las Vegas NV. Offered me a vacation package if my girlfriend and i sat through a 90 minute presentation. He gave me a part of town i was moderately familiar with as their location. Said he would call me back a day later, after i talked it over with my partner. The only reason i looked up the number was because i forgot the name of the company, and when i called back, i got a non-descript answering machine labeling the number simy as " reservations".
- KidThe caller said that I wasn't authorized to be removed from the calling list as if they have the # in their system is correct. Told her to F-OFF then she hung up.
- Caller: Couldn't understand
- JeremyThis number called me at 3:30am and left a 3 minute message with only music in it.

- dixieSomeone called referring to me by name saying they aren’t trying to sell me anything, then told me that I would get 3 airline tickets for becoming a member. LOL! Gotta love how they said the tickets were usable anywhere “here in the US” while I could hear people around them speaking another language.

- me| 2 repliesI have my number registered in the DNC and since I've done that I get more and more stupid calls like this. Why bother having a DNC list and register for it and then still get calls
- Actually.. replies to me....the DNC registry does work - but only for legitimate, law-abiding companies. It does not stop calls from scammers.
- MikeHuntleton replies to meThe DNC does work and prevents legitimate business from calling people on the list. It is not a call blocker for those who disobey laws and can't be expected to know who is calling your number. It is your responsibility to report offenders.

A woman with an accent says "can you hear me" I immediately hung up and blocked them. I've heard that some of these scammers ask this question and then they record your voice saying "yes" then they try to get into your personal accounts and use your recoreded "yes" to access them. I don't know if that's possible, but why take a chance. I wish the government or someone could do something about these ripp off artists but I guess we're all on our own. Sooooooooooooooooooo BEWARE

- MCBe careful and don’t say anything if you answer these unknown callers. I just automatically send them to my block list.
