This company called a friend of mind today and notified her that I owed $2000.00 for a payday loan from 2009. They also notified her that they was placing a warrant for my arrest. I asked them for detailed information and they refuse to lease information to me.

It sounds lie another Fake Payday Loan Collection Scam.  There's a very long thread about them in the Forums section of this board.

Bottom line - if they can't prove you owe the money you don't have to pay it.

They called me saying they were a carrier and need to talk to my husband for a court order and gave me a file number 485256 don't know what this is but I don't like it.

I had a message from the same number as well but haven't called back yet. I also got a call from another number last week saying I owed from a payday loan back in 2005! I don't even remember that and I don't believe I owe any money but they wouldn't give me any proof either! Are these scammers?

Keep calling for a gentleman who doesn't live at my house. I have tried to call back but all I get is a voicemail.

i have gotten a call from this number and they said someone is suing me, also i got a call from them in 2010 saying i owe a payday loan for 2000 but i never got one, they call and hang up also, i have the voice mail saved

Just got some papers faxed to my job from this company. They keep calling me at work? What should I do??

This agency is a total joke!  I am a retired collections manager of 18 years.  I received a call from a dimwitted collector today that had no concept of FDCPA or FTC.  I allowed her to give me her spill for about five minutes, she made approximately six fdcpa violations until I asked her to please stop!!! I was laughing to hard.

Folks, this agency is not on the map and of course does not belong to the Better Business Bureau.  As a few of you commented, file complaint with FTC and State Attorney General.  Eventually they will make a mistake......I'll be right there to collect!

They just called me asking for my S.S. number are they crazy!!! They didnt wanna tell me what the call was about, just that we have all your info and we just need to know if its you, so whats you S.S. number!!! Click!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so Edwards calls me from 716 200 4723 number, then feeds me a weird soc sec number. me and my dad have the same name. she reads it off fast. but I remember the last two digits, wasn't my dad. So I said it was him. I ask what was it about, she didn't want to give info, so I said, why should I give his number. "Because we are taking legal action blah blah blah, its important he calls us or you give me his number" Then she really messes up when she said "you aint you father, he was born in 1970" LMFAO little do they know who they are messing with. Sad because there going after people and harassing DAILY, I get at least 6 calls a day from 716 number.

They left this number 855-350-5494 with an account number of 568448. I am reporting it to the FTC, as well after reading this. Too many people are scammed these days. Let's take 'em down! :-)

I received multiple messages in a 24 hour period looking for my husband indicating this number to call back, they leave a claim number to reference and say something like this is state and federal notifcations of a pending claim please call the number within 24 hours.

This is lame! How do they even get our phone numbers? I just started getting these calls today but it is really obnoxious.

I have been getting these calls for two weeks now......multiple numbers, but the same IAG, International asset group...home phone and cell...finally answered one today...# 716-200-4723 ..was Latteesa Edward, said she was collecting  $654  from 2009 on an un-payed credit card called G M Flexible Earnings card...ask her to send me some paper work on it, she refused, said I had to pay it now by phone......lol...I told her I was recording the call and she hung up.....I never had a GM Flexible Earnings credit card issued by HSBC bank group, and the last loan I made was in 2006 from HFC for $5000, that has been payed off...I'm still working on this....going to contact HFC which is a member of HSBC, that issues this Card to find out with is up.

these lame [***] guys keep calling and asking for Ron S. Garcia (it is always a recording). They claim to be International Asset Group and have an urgent credit issue to discuss. Keep giving a claim number.

Keep getting these calls from 855-350-5494. If I try to answer, they hang up. If I don't answer then call goes to voicemail : They identify themselves as International Asset Group and say they have an urgent message for Ron S. Garcia.

This is a scam. if you get a call, don't give them any information.

Better yet, make up phony information and feed it to them....it will really screw them up....

Tell them not to ever call or contact you again at your place of employment! This is harassment and you can sue them especially if they jeopardize your job!  These are bottom barrell diggers--scam artist.  They call me everyday at least three times a day but I have their number blocked as I do all 800 or 888 numbers.  The phone rings once and disconnects.  The person they call for does not live here nor is this their number!

I keep getting calls throughout the day from this number asking for a person that does not live here.  I am self employed and they keep calling my cell phone which I use as my work number.  I am sick and tired of this, can't talk to anyone, have tried calling this number back.  I don't owe anyone any money, what I have is paid for.  What can I do about this?  I hate to change my number because I could lose alot of business changing my number.

got a call from these idiots trying to contact a Matthew Hazaard that we don't know.  They called on 1/9/12 and 1/12/12 from this number and on 1/11/12 they called fromn 877-812-8932.They have been told over and over to take our number off whatever they have showing it, they say they will EVERY time.
I will report them to the FTC and FCC and I am rude and nasty with them whenever they call now.  Next time I will be nice first and try to get some information, like a mailing address or name or something.
