They contacted me through a family member and told 4 different stories as to why they were contacting me to include a summons out for me, an owed credit line and an owed bill from Embark. They said I owed over $2000 but might reduce it down to $125. They had some of my personal information. Very scary scam indeed.

Contacted my husband on his moble phone claiming there is a summons related to a bank I've never done business with. Had some personal information. Definitely a scam

SCAM. I got a call from Maria demanding payment for an unpaid electric bill. Threatened me with arrest and claimed a summons was issued for my arrest.

Called my mobile about a pending complaint & that if I don't call back within 24 it gives them permission to take further action! Looked up phone number here first & will not be returning their call!! What is wrong with people!!

I just had the same thing 20 min ago call me say that

Scammers. Tried to convince me to wire them money for a defaulted line of credit I had never heard of. Voicemail threatened action if a call wasn't returned within 24 hours.

Rcvd call stating complaint filed and pending action. Looked up number and will not return call. They can send paperwork if it's legal.

got a call concerning threatened legal action concerning Dau=in=law.....told them she didn't live here (12 years)...called back and was told not to call them back again.....looked up number and got ll kinds of scam reports

SCAM - they left a voicemail for my wife threatening legal action over an unpaid debt with a company we aren't associated with. threatened a "summons" if we didn't return the call

SCAM - I have received this call before.  They leave an urgent message for Maria Lopez - which is not me and I have had my phone number for 20 years...   saying there is a complaint filed with their office.  Lots of other threats of call being logged as proof and them being forced to make a decision without her consent..blah blah blah.   Total Scam.

Very aggressive debt collection scam. Contacted my wife on her cell phone.  Had some personal info about me and claimed I defaulted on an old line of credit..  Offered to resolve the issue for 10 cents on the dollar paid immediately.  Clearly a scam

Left a message saying I had a complaint out against me and said I had 24 hours to contact them ( who am I contacting ) they gave no name about who they where
I'm ignoring this but it was very startling at first ... I wish someone could catch these people and put them in jail !!!

Received a threatening call today from this number  saying they were filing a civil suit against me for a credit line over 17 years old. First they called from a restricted line telling me they were going to serve me "tomorrow between this time" blag blah...then i questioned everything about this so called "civil suit" they claimed to have against me... and told her that I wanted to know WHAT FOR?? I asked lots of questions and she gave me this 855-350-6507 to call, since she said she doesn't have "THAT info, she's just the server company third party". Called the # and they DID have some of my personal info, which is scary!! Long story, they tried to get me to settle my account and give some sort of secured payment in good faith today. NOT!! They were VERY threatening and using old information on me including my maiden name. SCAM! I questioned who he was- he claimed "Chris at Glenmore Aquisitions out of California". Thankfully I googled this. I'm sharing this in hopes someone else doesn't get screwed over. Do NOT give them your card #'!! Really scary the extent people go to SCAM by looking up old debt info on you! Grrrrrrr.

Thanks to all who posted in regards to 855-350-6507.  Ditto, same experience here.  Just don't give them any of your personal info, no matter what they say.

Bob Archuletta with Glenmore Acquisitions - attempting to collect on a phantom debt (debt beyond the collection period statue of limitations) with AT&T Wireless...from 2002.

I just got a unkown number call and it went to email.  The lady said her name was Julie and that i had a pending lawsuit against me and wanted me to call back within 24 hours or they will make the judgement for me.  Obviously total BS.  She also gave me a reference number for her "law firm" which doesn't exsist.  I also looked the number up and it was some restaurant in Flordia!   WTF

I received this message asking for my adult daughter, who hasn't lived with us in over 4 years.  They also asked for her by her former name.  Similar story.
