theses people call all the time and say they are with credit corp solutions  if you press them, but they are not.
they usually ask for your spouse and then when they aren't there and you ask what it's in referrance to, they tell you "it's a business matter" and act as though they can't discuss with you, but then mid sentence they change their mind and offer to explain if you "just confirm their date of birth and or adress" - DO NOT this is the info they are after - just hang up at this point . Even when my husband was home and I handed him the phone they told him they couldn't even discuss the matter with him until he provided that info in order to protect his privacy. They've called at least 3 dozen times over the last several months despite our refusal to give them any info. So be warned NOT to talk to anyone calling from this number. It's an information gathering scam!

This really is Credit Corp Solutions calling you, they are debt collectors and they are protecting your information by asking you to provide your date of birth, they have your social, date of birth, address, and all of your information in front of them so they are not fishing just trying to protect your information. PS. just pay your bills it's easier that way :)

From what I have read, what this gang of crooks have zero interest in anyone's rights.  A search on this site alone exposes a pattern of dishonesty and harassment.  The emoji best associated with your post, and your fave company is the smiley poop pile.

That must be right out of the scammer's  book of 'How to Shill'.  They aren't "protecting" anything by asking for your personal information. They are collecting your information.

This number called my sister and said they needed to speak to me about a "business matter".  There is no way or reason that they should have my sister's contact info

They're still at it in 2023. I got an email (with this phone number as a contact number). I've never given any creditor permission to contact me via email, none. I don't even know how they got my email address. On top of that I've had no contact with this supposed debt collector before this email and their threatening to send this supposed debt to the attorney for possible legal action. That is in violation of the FDCPA, they can't threaten legal action unless they actually intend to take it.
