June 27, 2018, 11:44 AM - 4th robocall from Debt Partner from 855-390-4769 Unavailable to my number on the national DNC list. It was the same Debt Partner robocall in a clear male voice that I got yesterday:

"Hello this is Jonathan with Debt Partner. I see looking at your debt profile you may qualify for a lower monthly payment and a lower interest rate on your unsecured debt. You also can qualify for paying a portion of what you owe. Please press 1 now to check your eligibility or press 9 to put your number on the DNC list."

I pressed 1, and then heard this long prerecorded message, in the same clear male voice that said:

"All agents are busy assisting other customers. Please hold the line. Your call is important to us. For more than 20 years, Debt Partner has helped countless Americans find their way out of debt, with valuable industry affiliations, and relationships with every bank, retail store, and finance company. We are often able to negotiate lower interest rates and payments on your behalf. When major news outlets need to consult a financial expert, they consistently seek out Debt Partner. We are here to help you take control of your finances. Since 1996 we've helped more than 100,000 people get out of debt, and we can help you too.

After the second prerecorded message, I said "Hello? again, and then there was a long pause of silence. I was  just about to hang up, when an unidentified guy with an Indian accent came on and said "Card services". I asked him where the were, and he said Atlanta, Georgia. Their website is debtpartner.net, which has their number 855-390-4769 on their home page, and the email address infor@debtpartner.net.

Received a phone call from a spoofed local number, and received the following message:
"Hello this is Jonathan with debt partner. I see looking at your debt profile you may qualify for a lower monthly payment and a lower interest rate on your unsecured debt. You also can qualify for paying a portion of what you owe. Please press 1 now to check your eligibility or press 9 to put your number on the DNC list."
I pressed one for a live operator - got an individual, male, with a heavy foreign accent, probably FarEastern.  I asked him why I had to press 9, as I was already on the DNC - he started to tell me he was going to kick my...., and I told him what he could do, gave him the air horn that I keep by my phone to deal with telemarketers, and hung up.  IMMEDIATELY, I received two calls in a row from the above number, and I would presume it was from the same phone mill, using a spoofed number, that had called before.

You know, I'm seriously considering a class action lawsuit against AT&T - this kind of thing is actually very easily resolved, by using a form of caller ID.  If the phone being used to call from doesn't match the switch, it shouldn't go thru.  I see no reason at all to allow for phone number spoofing, and it could be stopped immediately if AT&T's feet were held to the fire.  Might think about that......

I get as many as ten calls a day.  I operate a home based business, and HAVE to answer the phone.  Cell phone has been bad today as well.  When does it stop?

Just wanted to put it out there, Debt Partner, whose official number is 855-390-4769, is now using spoofed numbers from local call areas.  Same company, same scam, just using different numbers.
