- Karen Nolen| 3 repliesThey called several people I know including myseld claiming they needed to serve me a summons to appear in court for a debt I supposedly owed 5/3 bank. I called them 4 times in one hour to see what they wanted from me when I first found out about this "debt". The first two times they hung up on me the third time I talked to a man with way too much attitude and the forth time I talked to a guy named Matt who said the name of the law firm was McIntyre Law. To make a long story short I asked him how much I owed and to whom it was ,that's when he told me that i owed 5/3 bank $299.29 from back in 2012 and the debt increased to $832.02. I told him that I would call the bank and verify this debt because I have no memory of banking with them at that time and that the whole thing sounded like fraud. I did call the bank and spoke to someone who could not verify the debt and told me NOT TO PAY these people anything because it is fraud. Please people whatever you do if these people call you or your friends and family at least if You're not sure about a debt call the creditor directly to verify or these people will take your money. Don't be threatened by a court order, you can always call the court house to verify a summons as well.

- Karen NolenIt's fraud. Don't pay them anything.
- Tara replies to Karen NolenThe same thing happened to my fiance yesterday, same name, number everything! They knew way too much info like my name and his last 4 social. When he called the company back today they couldn't even spell the name of their law firm and refused to send any paper work, said it would be illegal. Any legit agency would be happy to give any info to make a person feel at ease not hang up on them because they got caught up in their own lies.
- YvonneThey told me I was getting a summons from the County and called my family as well. I called the county and was told it's a fraud.
- AnonThese people have harassed me and my family members. Even called my job! I've contacted the courts and they have nothing on me whatsoever. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!

- Karen Nolen replies to Lisa DillionNo offense, but are you actually a concerned citizen or are you with these scammers. Everyone here has posted about how they are liars and are fraudulent yet you seem to say they are real. Hmm
- ShillKill replies to Lisa Dillion| 1 replyLisa is a liar and a thief. This shill got bust in another thread yesterday. First, those aren't valid case numbers for the respective courts, Second, "MC Law Group" is actually a firm that does immigration law in CT
Here is the thread from yesterday

If you had only stayed in school. Now, you are shilling for a criminal enterprise. Has the title loan company been threatening you with repossession? Are real debt collectors breathing down your back? I doubt the money you were paid to write these illiterate shill posts would make any difference in your debt. - I can do it too replies to Lisa Dillion--------------------------WE-----------------------DON'T--------------

- tara| 4 repliesIt's funny how they told me their name is McIntyre law firm and no one answers this number now so when u call 2132102537 the other number they gave us, dan answers and won't give an address. And when he hangs up on u and u call back it says the person at ext 227 is not taking calls but no ext. was entered. U would think he would put someone like a supervisor on the phone to reassure his company is real

- MidNYteStorm replies to Lisa DillionYour own comment has convinced me that calls from this number should be ignored.
- ShillKill replies to tara| 3 repliesTotal crooks. The McIntyre Law firm is a personal injury practice in Oklahoma City, and the number they gave you appears to be from Los Angeles
- tara replies to ShillKill| 2 repliesJust got off the phone with them now and they still can't prove anything is real, just wanna sh*t talk back and hang up. Is their someone i can call to report them? What they're doing is not right
- Tygerkat replies to Lisa DillionSo did they call you from this number or the one you posted on yesterday? How many other number threads are you going to post your lies on?
- Resident47 replies to tara| 1 replyThe Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission share Federal oversight of consumer debt collectors. They and your attorney general should welcome complaints; all of them have enforcement power. The FTC invites written submissions, which are added to the Consumer Sentinel Network, a database available to law enforcers everywhere.
It's also smart to report to the AG in the home state of the offending company. This bunch, however, is not making location easy. If a target can be painted, there is little to stop you from filing your own FDCPA lawsuit for any rights you were denied.

- Gunnar replies to Resident47Hi Res!
I see that you've found another thread with "Lisa Dillion" in it. That surprises me. I'd have thought that worm would have abandoned that alias yesterday. Yet again we have an example of how ignorant these Scammers truly are.
"Lisa", "Matt" & "Dan" will be firing up new numbers soon. They'll also start using "new" names. They'll have no choice. They're finding out that buying "bad paper" cheap isn't always a good deal. In their case it was a very bad idea. Being stupid leads to desperation. Desperation leads to mistakes. Mistakes lead "Lisa", "Matt" & "Dan" right back to where they started, where they've been before...or worse.
Live med ara,
Gunnar
