Call constantly. Been doing so for several weeks,several times a day.They ask if I speak Spanish,I say no and they hang up.I tried calling back and I get a weird siren/fax sound.

Caller ID lists as UNAVAILABLE.  However, it's AMVETS Thrift Store looking for donations.

Am-Vets..reminding of pick up day..confirming the card you already received in the mail!  This is a good site..i figured I would come back and post when i know something instead of just when i don't know.  thanks people!

Calls way too much.-no name

It's a veterans donation.  They're notifying me they're bringing a donation truck to my neighborhood and that I can bring donations for veterans to them.  I didn't listen to the whole message.  It was a recording.

The fact that this call has a 411 exchange makes me suspicious. I know Amvets exists, but I question the call as a whole. There are too many scams and I am not about to trust this one or any other call.

Thus number calls multiple times a day when you answer there is silence. One time they said if not this caller press 1 and it went silent!

Called 10:24 a.m. 2-12-14.  Didn't recognize #, so didn't answer.  The call did go to voicemail.  Something about AmVets being in area and would pick up donations.  Don't trust it.  Caller ID:  Toll Free

It has been a while since I received a call from this Amvets.  They claim that a collection truck will be in the area looking for donations. I still have my qualms about this organization based on the fact that the phone numbers exchange is 411. Not to mention the fact that I have never donation to this organization before. I have donated to another veterans organization using my Google voice number and they have yet to call me. So I will continue to donate  with them.  

I just received a call from them, did not answer, they left a message supportthe vets. org, I do not trust people calling me that way, I could give them my address and they case the joint, not going to happen. I give to the Salvation Army and I call them, and I take clothes to Goodwill, as much as I want to support our vets because the govenment is not, I just do not trust this person on the phone one bit.  I get calls from the Highway Patrol wanting monies for teddy bears for tots, the Fire Dpt support our firefighters, and so on.  The person who called said I could call them back, not going to do that, then they will have my name and number.

This place calls our home at all hours of the day and night telling me their truck will be in the area, but be in the area every month, every week, sometimes twice in a week? If I just gave them all of my items for "the vets" how in gods name will I have more stuff to give away in 2 days, a week later, etc??  This is intrusive and should stop ASAP.

Received a call from them this morning.  Caller ID said "Toll Free Caller".  Message left was from AmVets saying a collection will be in your area soon.

Caller ID showed this number as simply "Toll Free Call".  It was a pre-recorded call for AMVETS, saying they had a donation truck that was going to be in the area, and if I wanted to schedule a donation pick up to press 1.  

I have asked this company many times to stop calling my home and put our phone number on their DO NOT CALL list. They tell me OK but keep calling even at 8:45 PM           They want donations. I support a mission in my home town.

Robo call from AmVets soliciting household item donations for pickup. Includes a guilt-trip message about how our Vets need my help now more than ever. (When was the last time any charity didn't need my help?!) I pressed "1" to schedule a pickup, and when the representative answered, I asked her to put me on their do not call list. She said "consider it done. You are on our do not call list."
Feel free to donate if you can, and a home pickup is probably the best way to get rid of your unwanted items. I choose to donate to other charitable thrift shops in my community. My local AmVets thrift store is dirty and the donated items that they put on their shelves are filthy. The first (and last) time I went into their thrift shop, one bedspread I looked at had dead cockroaches stuck to it. Not kidding. I choked back the urge to vomit and quickly left the store. I hope they treat the Vets they serve better than they treat their store. People, if it's not something you would buy in a thrift store, then it belongs in a dump!

Do you really think that this is Am-Vets. NOT. How could this same number call all you people in all those different places and advise you a truck will be in your area tomorrow ?!!?! They don't know where you live until you answer your call.
They are robo calling and  casing your house for whether or not you are home, or elderly or for some nefarious scam. BE WARE!
