I called the number back after receiving a voicemail and the lady on the other end of the line sounded like a heavy smoker, got very rude, and hung up on me in the middle of me asking question. Definitely rose some red flags.

They called me several times from a blocked number instructing me to call some 1-855 -416-4941 number which most likely is a call center regarding a "legal" matter which they never state and sent me a long text very similar to the Amanda's post.. There's no "satellite Corp office" anywhere online only under "scams" all they are doing is trying to scare people into paying them money by stating some legal jargon.. calling people from a blocked number, texting them and telling them to call this phantom law firm isn't how the legal process goes anyway! These people have nothing else better to do than scare people and scam them.. Don't fall for it! Total scam!

I received 2 calls from this # asking for a person i know. They refused to give me an address of their facility so I could go pick up this " legal issue". I spoke with Brain who wanted me to confirm some #'s I am assuming that it was part of a ss #. He stated that he could not talk to me until I confirmed them, which I refused and insisted on getting an address, which he deflected. I also told him to removed my number from his calling list because he stated no you are the person we are looking for. (which I am not). What a scam I would really like to report this to the Governor of Florida or the District Attorneys office.

I also received the same exact text telling me to call 866-737-2605 stating call their Firm and calls won’t be taken after 4pm. It was their last and final attempt. They even called the phone and said they think they have the right address and enough info to file charges. Attempt to collect a debt my ass. I agree total scam.

Brought up something from 7 yrs ago said we owed 1400 to a bail bond agency .didnt give name of agency or nothing same text as every one Els on here and the number it came from is a text now subscriber number which is 1 916 389 1860 directing us to call 1 866 913 1416 no answer when called today 2/14/20

+19162461748 is the number I received the call from asking for my sister. Needed to confirm her address which I did then received a computer generated text from 408 -785-3762 that reads...

A lady called me saying a complaint has been filed against me and to call a different number to a law firm.... I know for a fact that no complaint can rightfully go through unless a processed server personally serves me a copy or it is delivered through priority mail... Don’t be fooled people, this is a scam....

Got the same info. But the number they called from was 866-967-2044.

They sent me a text saying they tried to serve my father documents today, but I've been home all day long and no one came to knock on the door, send mail, or anything of the sort. They arent just scammers, they dont even do the bare minimum they claim to do. Likely the pandemic is making some ppl desperate for cash.

I got the same call and text but they also emailed me documents to sign to try to settle my debt for a lower amount, do you think it’s legit?

Doubtful Amanda will return after 3 years to answer, but I would say no it is not legit.

An email is not a legal method of debt validation. Nor are phone calls, faxes, or texts.
