- Glennda| 2 repliesScam!! Terrible company they not only called me but harassed my family
- Caller: Marshall stone litigation support specialist
- Call type: Debt collector
- waddle| 2 repliesScammers. Call came up “Unknown”. Left a message about some kind of law firm, a credit card processing company’s name (a Point Of Sales system not debt), then saying I had to call back and this was my “notice”. The entire message made no legal sense in the state I live in. After further research, they’re spoofing real people’s id’s (mine was Audrey Campbell). And they also called my father who knows nothing about technology and scams. He called them back and they told him I owed money for some past due bill. Again upon further investigation (I don’t currently owe anyone money) looking back on old debt the number didn’t match either of the 2 old credit cards I paid off 5+ years ago.

- Charles| 2 repliesThey called my cousin telling him it was the court and that I had to get in touch with them or if not they will continue with the case without me. They even gave him some fake [***] case number.
- regina| 1 replyThey called my ex-husband of over 30 years saying I gave him as a reference. He didn't get all the details but the callers name was Audrey and she gave the correct county that I currently reside and said something about attempted delivery of certified mail!

- Edgar| 1 replyTotal scam this person called stating I owed the first bank of Delaware money and demanded I pay them or I would be taken to court . Initially someone called from unknown number and stated they were a process server and wanted to confirm my address i didn’t give them info and they told me to call 8554150650. I then spoke to Raymond that stated he was from a attorneys office and I needed to pay the credit card off or face a lawsuit. I never had a account with the first bank of Delaware. They also called my wife And sister have no clue where the [***] they got my family’s number

- Sarah replies to waddle| 1 replyI’ve been getting the same call. They harassed my family who don’t even live with me and they said they’re getting ready for court proceedings. Funny thing is I don’t owe any money to anyone. They left a case number. I anonymously called the number and it rings and rings. Legitimate companies are listed and this number is not and their phone doesn’t even have a voicemail. It comes up as UNKNOWN. These scammers have no shame. Glad I saw your warning. I have enough stress in my life then to be harassed. Oh yeah and one more thing. They said they sent documentation to an old address I lived in over 20 years ago. I had that checked out and, of course, it was a lie. Thanks for your info!! I can sleep better now.
- Sarah replies to reginaSame here. It’s a scam for sure. If I see a number with no identification, I just let it go to voicemail. Theirs is always UNKNOWN. The woman who left a voicemail was definitely reading off a script and she sounded like a robot - same tone for every word.
- Sarah replies to EdgarWow - same here. I still don’t know what I owe LOL because I have no debt. These clowns have called members of my family who I don’t even live with. They left a message yesterday that they’re getting ready to take me to court LOL. They even left a case number. It would be funny if we all had the same case number. Well not funny but you know what I’m saying. Well, they can bring on their imaginary bill. LOL These people are total idiots.
- Sarah replies to GlenndaDon’t fall for it. It’s a scam. Block them or ignore the call. Tell your family not to give any info on you. They’re known for asking where you live. They use scare tactics and threats and court proceedings.
- Sarah replies to GlenndaThey call their company Dawson Law firm. They said they’re located all across the country and that they’re a legitimate firm. They are very nasty - definitely not corporate manners. I asked for their address and they wouldn’t give it. Definitely a scam!!!!
- SarahI just called them twice and both reps were nasty. I gave them a taste of their own medicine. They will not give the address of the Dawson Law Firm which they state they are working from. They won’t give the location which is definitely a red flag. They claim they are located all across the country. When they call, their so called LEGIT company comes up as UNKNOWN. So that’s definitely a sign it’s fake.

- margieAudrey Campbell called husband's cell and left a message about a pending civil lawsuit to be filed against his ex sister-in-law in the actual county where she resides. Message stated my husband was listed in file as possible contact. He only called back because of his contentious relationship with his brother and wanted to make sure his idiot brother wasn't releasing my husband's personal info. When he called "Audrey", he told her nothing personal other than he's had no contact with his ex sister-in-law for 20. "Audrey" said she'd "remove" my husband as a contact. Then I blocked the number from my husband's cell.

- Lyniece855-415-0655 called saying I have a lawsuit against me and I have to receive notification. She gave me a case number and phone number of the person handling my case named Jake Anderson when I called the number they said that party was in a meeting and to call back. Funny thing is I don't owe anyone but maybe a hospital. I'm pretty sure it's a scammer..

- jason replies to Charles| 1 replyi just got a call on Friday saying they tried to serve papers in me and couldnt get anyone to sign for it.the y gave me a case # also. It really scared me. What action did you take?
- jason replies to SarahYes same here. it really scare me.What did you do>just ignore them? or what action did you take?
- Tygerkat replies to jasonThis is a scam. No action needs to be taken, unless you want to block the number.
Real process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the option to pay your way out of being served which is what these scammers will tell you if you call them back.
