Got a vm about a legal matter, they said my 1st and last name for me to call back , haven't done so since I've been reading about all these scams with a similar  number, anyone else get a call? Was a blocked number went right to vm since I changed the settings on my phone not to accept blocked calls

A man identifying himself as "Don Smith" from this # the "company BBMB" he is with is accusing a family member of using "Don's dads" SS# threatening to have a person come serve them with papers... nothing but a scam! Don't answer blocked calls ~

They called me on a blocked number, then called my ex in laws and left information for me to contact them. Me thinking this was about another court issue I am going through called them back. We I called them back the knew all my information and claimed I was being sued and that they had been trying to serve me papers for credit card debt form the year 2000 for 2600 but that I could avoid court if I paid them $1300 now or set up a payment plan for the orginal amt. If not the court would award the total amt being sued for which was 4600 and garnish my wages. I have received no letter and no summons as of yet and it isnt that hard to find me. So I am unsure if these claims are real or not. I suspect this is just creditors using scare tactics.

Female, blocked number, said she was with the processors office. I said from where? She said they are nationwide, that Two failed attempts to serve me with some legal documents that if I didn't return their call To set up a time to deliver the docs, I could be sued without knowing. I started asking questions and she hung up on me. She gave me this 855 number to call back with a file number to reference. I'm not in any legal financial or otherwise trouble, at least that I'm aware of, but ha this just seems fishy.

Female, blocked number, said her name was Melinda and that a complaint against me was referred to her office for consideration of legal action including filing of a lawsuit and a filing of a complaint with the court. She gave this 855 number to call back with a file number to reference. I am not aware of any complaints or legal issues against me so was not sure if this was a scam.

recieved the same kind of call, came in as a PRIVATE CALL, 855#, returned the call said they were looking for my EX HUSBAND, told them we had been divorced for many many years, how they got my name and number, no clue, they said I was the next of kin,I told them I would appreciate if they would not call me anymore, and remove my name, I'm thinking it was a scam, I should have never returned the call., I have private numbers blocked, but came thru with a voice mail, and I do not understand that whatsoever....why can't these people be stopped????

These people called me.  My ex wife charged a bunch of stuff in my name on credit and I was being sued. They were pleasant as could be and offered me a cost effective solution.  They did contact some of my family members mistakenly.

got the similar call yesterday around noon. Male, blocked number, said his name was Michael and that a complaint against me was referred to his office. He gave this 855 number to call back with a file number to reference. He threatened that if I did not call back by the end of the day, he would deem my number as  a confirmation and they will have some kind of legal action towards me. I do not think there will be any kind of complaints or legal issues against me. So I highly doubt this to be a scam. It looked like so many people got their calls, similar calls. Can't they be stopped?
