- Misc replies to anonymousI got the same call twice stating they are trying to serve me legal documents that I needed to sign for.
- Misc2Says they are suing me for a debt and process server will be there this week. I've really been sued in the past and that isn't how this works. Empty threats from a collection agency not licensed in my state. They knew it too, based on how fast they backed down.

I have nothing outstanding that could be a civil suit? Also my brother in law received a call where they were attempting to reach me he isn't listed on anything of mine anywhere and my maiden name has never been legally changed. The name they gave him was off my fb..scam?? Thinks so

- Laura| 1 replyMy daughter & ex mother in law both received voice mail messages from this number telling me to contact the company. When I did the gentleman who answered did not state who they were, told me he would transfer me to an attorney, I then asked who I was calling, he told me Austin Dalton & Associates, he then transferred me to a attorney by the name of Roman, Roman then tried telling me that suit was being filed against me for fraud and then said it was for a unpaid medical bill to Southwest Hospital. I had no knowledge what he was speaking about and when I started asking more questions and stating some facts I knew about the hospital being close for 15 plus years he got rude and hung up on me, called me a know it all & smarty. I tried to call back and he told me our conversation was over, when I requested copy of medical bill or information on the hospital he refused and then told me to look the hospital up online since I knew everything. I have verified with our State Attorney General this is a major scam.

- Ginger1 replies to LauraHad the same thing happen to me. They’ve changed the last 4 digits of their phone #, a month after you posted this.
What was scary is that they had my address, last 4 of social. Hmm. I neither confirmed or denied. They claimed they had sent me letters and would serve me this Saturday. Yeah ok. Not how that works. Let us see. Called me a know it all and told me I was stupid & confused. Their address is a ups store. Just hope they don’t do more with the info they had, but I do have fraud protection.
Thanks for confirming with your state. I will do that with mine if possible. - Connie replies to anonymousSame here. Called me in February and left message for a relative with same tone, message about filing civil case and stated county/state. Left case # and stated they have tried to reach the person. If no call back, said they will be forced to go forward with civil case.
Nothing has been sent to date to my address. Notifying State Attorneys office.
