they called my cell phone and threatened pending civil complaint litigation against me. he said his name was brian macken, said he was representing Safer and Assoc, searched google the only company with that name is located in the UK.

Called said that there is a judgement order from Bank of America against me on a credit card I had with them 2000-2006 Master credit card. I said that's not true, you are a scam and hung up! I never had a credit card w. BofA I checked w. BofA as well, there's nothing against me! (besides it's now 2019 and statue of limitation are way over)

Got a call from this number threatening civil litigation action.

I got a call from them saying I was listed as someones contact. then they left a voice mail threatening civil litigation from someone I do not even know. Sounds fake.

These people left a threatening message about filing a civil suit on behalf of Schaffer’s and Associates I guess that’s how it’s spelled but anyway they also called my mother and tried to get info from her I do not know these people or owe them anything and they claim they mailed things to me but they didn’t this is lie and a scam let them file whatever they want if it’s legit but I know it’s not legit

Caller stated there was a civil suit pending against me in the court in the county I reside in I should call immediately

Same here. Said they were from Schafer and Assoc. and threatened pending litigation. Called every phone on my cell plan. It's pretty funny that this number has just started showing up and being reported in the past two days

Same here.. The guy on the other end said his name was Jonathan, he was from Schaffer & Associates needed me to call this number they have a civil suit against me  855-415-8626... Gave me a case #  to call back with... There was no caller ID on my phone when Jonathan called..

This number left a message stating I had civil action pending and I was ignoring the mail.  So not true. Do NOT fall for this.  When I asked for the address, it is in California, not San Antonio where I live.  Collection agency scam.  They told me it was on my credit report, which is totally clear.  I monitor through Identity Guard, so don’t fall for this!

They've been calling me too lately regarding some credit card 12-15 years ago. Statue of limitations are way over. I hung up.

They must be hard up for money to try and scam people for debt when the limitations are up.

Said there’s a civil suit against me no caller ID#. These people are a scam Beware do not call them and Tell them not to call you again.

Received false notification of potential litigation. This is the 2nd scam perpetrated on us this week.

They have actually gotten a lot better at this since the 80's.

Monica has left 2 messages in my cell phone. Called from blocked number. Also called everyone listed as a possible family member on Google. Stated there is a pending civil litigation against me in my county. Gave me a case #. I have not returned call. Seeing all these scam reports makes me feel a little better. I've never recieved a single letter from these people. My fear is what if they actually do sue me for a debt that is past statute of limitations, but I don't show up because I am unaware. Won't that make me automatically be a default and lose? Help!!!
