Said they were litigation department. Called my ex- brother in law who I have not been in contact with for 14+ years.

Told me they were a litigation company with a pending civil suit against me.

I just got a similar call, said they were from Shaffer and Associates. Misspelled my first name (asked for "Randolph"). Said it was a civil complaint from Johnson County--all the Johnson counties seem to be in the Midwest (where I do not live) or in Texas.  caller said her name was Ashley.

My mother in law was called yesterday by the same number and same company number. Said there was a civil suit as well. Listed the county in NY we live in and also called her 2 children. Very suspicious.

Call came through as "NO ID CALLER" They left a VM. I called back and this is what they said.
I have a civil law suit against me. They had ALL my information.
Address, SS#, Credit Card, from 13 years ago. Said I owed thousands and that they would put a lean on my house if not paid in full. Looked into the phone numbers associated and pulled up address. It's not valid. Many reporting its all SCAM!!

Called, said it was a pending litigation from a credit card from FIRST BANK OF DELEWARE from 2000.  I have not had a credit card with that company or bank.  They said it was linked to my social security number somehow.  They said they just want to settle.  They mentioned sending a letter 2 months ago but i haven't received anything.

called my kids saying a civil suit will be filed on me. Stop the harassment already!!!!!

H daughter received a call from this number they left a voice mail about a pending litigation to me , her mother. Then I received a voicemail from them . Her name is Ashley and it sounds like a recording. We both looked the number up and it’s listed as a scam number. When is this all going to stop!!

First I got a call from a no caller Id saying I need to call this 855-415-9482 because they are going to file a civil suit against me I’m glad I looked up the number

Got a call from a restricted number and they said they had a pending credit card case against my father, who died 2 years ago and that i was listed as a contact.  I told them he passed and they asked me to call 8554159482 and gave me a case number and to let them know who I was and that he passed. When I did,  which I was skeptical already they answered the phone simply 'litigation' and already knew he passed when I gave them the case number. Thay had the county correct but now I wish id asked more questions

I received a call yesterday from this number stating they had a civil complaint they were about to file against me. I've learned it's a scam

Received a call from my ex husband claiming that he just paid ( settled) with these people in the amount of 2600.00!! Originally, they told him that there was a 4000.00 card from citibank taken out in his name in 2008- Ive NEVER NEVER had a citibank card let alone in his name! I tried to tell him this is not legit!
