Man called stating they had tried to serve a summons on my SO at our address in Los Angeles but were unsuccessful.  She was given the lawyer's name and "her" case number.  Lawyer's name was allegedly Mary Hall (no Mary Hall is an attorney in California) and the man allegedly on the phone was David Neal.  I called the number (855-415-9516) and the answering service is IVS - the VS stands for Voice Services, but I couldn't hear the I - identified myself as an attorney and they kept me on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up.  Not expecting to be contacted again.

Called to say I had a court summons and to call the number above to get my court info.
Had my lawyer call and verify it was bs.

I had the same thing today.  What was funny was when I asked for the "lawyers" bar card number, she wouldn't give it to me.

I received a call from an alleged "Miami Dade County Process Server" and that I need to call James Harris Atty- with a claim # stating I am being sued in court and that I need to call 855-415-9516. I called the # and was transferred 3 times, put on hold for 13 minutes. Hung up. Called my husband (whom is an attorney)- SCAM!
