Received a call similar to the one reported from 855-415-0723, for my sister, who lives out of state, from a private number:

 "This is an urgent message intended for ___ ___. My name is ___ and I am contacting you in reference to a complaint that has just been forwarded to my office. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the pending action that may be filed against you, you will need to contact the firm immediately at 855-415-9798. The file number that you will need to reference when calling in is ------. Now ____, this does require your immediate attention and it is very important that they do speak to you or they'll be forced to make a decision without your consent. Once again that number is 855-415-9798 and your reference number when calling in is ------. Thank you"

They never once identified the name of their company.

Calling about legal documents and will not share anymore of questions, as to what is regarding about other than it will file against case given #.. Refuse to elaborate as what case this is, plus the person says, the person should know what legal matter it is is she into.  When i said, I'll have lawyers contact them and just said, what's the lawyer contact, I said, I will have to get back to them with information.  That person smirked with laugh and said you have a great day mam.  I don't understand what calls this is and not informing what case it is.  Just said, legal matter..

I received a call from this number claiming to be a collection agent.  They had my name and my last four which they wanted me to confirm.  They said I have an account that they are trying to collect on for Sprint.  I have never been with Sprint.  They said they were going to take me to small claims court over a $760 and that they were going to seek $2400, if it goes to court.  They gave me Sprints number and a case number.  Sprint says they have never had an account in my name and had no record of such an account number.  Sprint said their account number are your cell number and the number they gave me was two digits short of a phone number.  I believe these people were trying to fish for my information to use...  Please be careful if they call you.

Called me saying there was a warrant out for my arrest.  It was for a Steinbeck’s credit card that was closed in 2005.  I never had a Steinbeck’s credit card.  Called back from another 855 number
