These people are scammers they are not a debt collector call and report them to the FTC. I reported them today and now they are calling me from different #’s with the same type messages and saying the matter is regarding family members now. FTC informed me NOT to answer there call as they were a SCAM and to report all activity to FTC

They harass are impersonating as officers and state employees and request personal information with giving the name of Bussiness, address etc. Reported all calls to the FTC...

They said that I owed $2,000 in credit card bill.

Called to contact a family  member re civil litigation to be filed, gave a case number  &said that my number was contact info number, thing is I know these people but not a Family  member of theirs so how did they get my number?

Called to contact a  third party re civil litigation, thing is I know these personsthey asked for thru an in law but not the prople they are trying to reach &how did they get my number when have had this only since 4/10?? This was so weird.

Received a called on Monday from a restricted number who then left a voice mail stating, "Good Morning, this information is intended for (my first and middle name) and (my wife's first and middle name), this is David Graves calling from Nationwide Legal Services. I'm giving you a call in regards to a matter forwarded to this office that we are preparing to file in (the stated the county I currently live in). We have made several attempts to establish contact with you with no response.  The firm filing the complaint will be moving forward without legal representation.  You will need to contact the main office of Ellis/Ellison (sp?) Associates at 855-415-9881, reference number CV117011.

So I researched and then called Nationwide Legal Services LLC, a legit company in NY state (I live in NC) and talked with their HR department.  They stated no one named David Graves works for or with them. She also told me their company receives a least one phone call a week from people verifying if there really is a case pending. The return number left in the VM just rang  and rang until a generic message service asked me to leave a name and number and reason I was calling.  Obviously I didn't leave any additional information.  BEWARE OF THIS SCAM, it can be very convincing if you don't do you research.
