Harrassing me with litigation on Credit card.

I just received a call from Rose at Edward and Associates Law Firm. They asked me to pass along and message and have that person respond to  855-418-4072. The person they asked about is an ex that I was dating 14 years ago, we were never married but I did co-sign on a vehicle for him, that's the only way we were attached on record. The fact that they have my first, middle and last name is downright scary.

They contacted me about a 21 year old credit card debt

“Edward and Associates” called my sister in law looking for me. When i called back they said I owed on a 12 year old credit card debt. That’s i was going to be sued if I didn’t pay something. That if I didn’t appear in court that my accounts would be frozen if I didn’t pay. I asked for the information to be emailed to be bc I’ve received no info by mail. They said they would email it. When i didn’t get a email I started doing some reasearch. That’s when i found out it was all fake!

I just received a voicemail from Rose at Edward and Associates Law Firm. with a civil case number WA-35... they also called my brother with the same info. after calling them back and asking a few questions. I realized they were a collection agency lol trying to collect a supposed medical bill from April, 16, 2000 hahaha!!!

I received a call from Edward and Associates. Sylvia left a message with my case number and said if I didn’t call they would file a lawsuit for an outstanding debt. After several attempts I was finally told the party filing the lawsuit,  They said it was from a hospital I have never even heard of and definitely never been.  They claimed they sent me paperwork (which I never received). After my additional questioning the representative from the law firm said if I gave him my credit card info they would not file a suit against me and of course I refused. He then terminated the call

Called and sounded really professional and told me to call the law firm about a civil case. I immediately entered the call back number and seen your responses. They need to get a life

This number called my sister and stated I was being sued in a civil case by the town I live in. I called back and when I asked for them to mail me the information about the debt,  the man on the phone became abusive; talking over me, yelling at me to 'be an adult ' and told me they would be garnishing my wages and taking my car. He knew the make and model. However, I dont believe I ever had the card he was referencing and its from 2003! Its not on my credit report either

My wife got a call from these people not knowing the number she handed me the phone they then asked me if I was able to contact Lisa which is actually my ex-wife explaining how they were filing a lawsuit against her I asked what it was built and they wouldn't tell me just gave me a case number then the phone number as it turns out they're saying that she owed hospital bill for my son from September 1st 2005 the balance of $1,800 which now with attorneys fees was over 3000 after calling the hospital and discussing with them the only record they had was from 1998 with no balance. I spoke to them again ask them to email me copies of the bills and proof of the debt all they sent me was DocuSign document of a promissory to pay I sent them an email explaining that I was going to send them a certified letter a validation of the debt and if not validated I would pursue legal action against them an hour later I receive a call from a supposed attorney telling me that they will be seeing me in Court I guess I was hitting them up with too many questions because he wouldn't talk to me anymore and hung up what a scam

Honey, towns don't sue people because they did not pay a bill. Make them prove you owe the money. If you don't know how, then visit the debt collection pages at the ftc, the cfpb, and your state attorney general. Make sure you report them when you are there also.

Called my sister— upsetting her—about going to file a civil suit against me, blah, blah, blah.  Gave phone number 855-418-4072 for me to call back and an account number.  Asked my sister if she knew me but used my maiden name. I have not used my maiden name in 12 years.
These people need to be stopped. They are torturing our relatives.
For upsetting my sister, give me three minutes (with a baseball bat in hand)  in a small room with this piece of garbage.

called my sister and her son regarding a fictuous past debt.  They are theatening and sharing information that a legitimate firm would not do.  My sister has cancer and is not well she does not need the agrevation of these charlatans.
