rcvd a call from ADR Arbitration Group a Scott Pope claiming to be an attorney and will be serving my daughter with a court appearance, he is also calling other family members, and has personal information. We think this is a scam the company they claim to be collecting for says they do not use this company and he cannot provide his bar # and cannot locate his name as a attorney in NY.

Most likely one or both of these two groups.  Same address, same agent.  Report them!

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them .

This "Scott Pope" persona has a long history of calling from various debt scamming operations in New York state.  That name is a flashing red light and you should hang up immediately if he calls you.

I also received a call from the adr law office stating I owe money but his name was richard sutton and said myself or my attorney had 24 hrs to respond.

Someone by the name of Elizabeth, from ADR Arbitration, called for my daughter saying she had an outstanding bad check. Caller threatened wage garnishment or drivers license suspension if call not returned. I resent the fact that caller has my daughter's full name, last four digits of her SS number and my name!
