Received a call from a Mark(last name was unable to be deciphered) who is acting as a process server........who stated that he had papers come across his desk for them to be served to me for some kind of financial matter.  Has called 2x as well as a friend of mine. Gives also a case # and a number to call.  I do NOT owe anyone that I am not aware of and frequently check my credit report for errors and issues..  The message also states that I need to call the number listed above as the claimant as he has no information.  When calling the number, a message gives you a 4 digit number to leave a call back number in this unidentified number's mailbox.
This is absurd. Usually you would get some kind of paperwork stating what the debt owed is and from whom.  THIS IS A SCAM IF I'VE EVER HEARD ONE.  Do not cater to these [***].......they are fake and are trying to get your information and then into your personal info. etc.  BEWARE !!
