Did you get an unknown call giving you the 855-468-6360 number and stating that if you didn't call them by the following monday that you would be served with court papers.

I got an unknown call giving the same number from a George Westin. He stated in his voice mail that he received documents in his office this morning and that he would be out tomorrow to delivery an "appearance notice". He then called again the next day from a number that actually showed on caller ID, but it was not his actual phone number. He must be spoofing his number. In his second call he said that he would be out to my premises on file to disburse the document he had on file and if he could not get it out to me today, it would be considered a refusal to sign with a possible missed appearance.

For some reason this sounds so familiar. It think he called me several months ago. No one ever showed up this time or the time before.

I also received an unknown call from a Lacy Dumati stating she is a private courier and that she received documents in her office and would be out on Monday afternoon to deliver and "Legal Notice of Intent". The voicemail stated that if I have questions regarding the notice, I could call 855-468-6360 and provide a case number reference. I am required to be at my residence and provide 2 forms of ID and have a witness, otherwise, she stated that she would show up and my place of employment.

What is this???

OMG I got the same call.  She said she would be a my house the next day, and that she had a complaint against me, and to make myself available.  I'm a law abiding citizen so I was wondering who had a complaint against me!

Yes they call me the next day too with a number that showed up on my caller ID, so I looked up the number and it belonged to a Doctor.. They have all kinds of ways to steal other people's phone numbers... This cannot be legal!!!

i too have received several calls from this number...They say it is my best interest to return the call. My neice has even received calls from this number with messages for me. I have no idea what it's about and I don't want to return the call for fear of becoming involved with a scam.

I just recieved the same call and was told i need to be at my address and show ID , if i was not available to contact them . If i didnt there would be an arrest warrent for me. Not sure what this is about but i am 79 years old never been arrested and have perfect credit . These people need to be put in jail.

i got a call today from this number a guy named Paul Howard. I am so confused. same thing ID, witness to sign, appearance. I called the number and nothing nobody answered.

that sounds exactly like mine...Paul Howard. Should I just ignore it ?

3 calls this morning from UNKNOWN leaving a message that it was Elliot and that he had received papers in his office and that he would be out to my residence in the morning. That I would be required to receive legal papers and to sign papers he had and that I would have to have two picture ids and a witness. The message went onto say that if I had any questions I could call E-FILING PARTY @ 855-468-6360 and give them the file number which he repeated twice in the message. If I was not available he would drop them off at my place of employment. This is about a payday loan I was unable to repay, and I have received no notices in the mail regarding this loan which I defaulted on. I have no intention of signing anything and if he wants to leave the paper work with me unsigned then he can leave it in my mailbox and I will forward it on to an attorney. If he wants to argue the point, I keep a loaded shotgun nearby and will ask him to remove himself from my premises or risk being considered an intruder whose intentions might lead me to believe my life is in danger. I don't know ELLIOT, but why don't you just mail your documents certified mail if you are legitimate and dont run the possibility of having plastic surgery in August to your posterior maximus.

I just received a call from Yvette Smith (PCS) would be delivering some legal papers by my home and have two piece of ID and a witness.  And if I had any questions to call 855-468-6360. This is about a payday loan I was unable to repay but, had asked them to send the paper work to my home.  But, I received no papers.  I do plan to pay but, they need to send me the documentation.

This number is connected to a scam. Don't believe anything they say! It will seem real because somehow, someway, they know some of your personal info. They even have a fake automated system to make it seem real. They will seem to try to "settle" a debt with you, and steal your card number if you give it to them. You can scare them off if you ask a lot of questions. They will lie and say they mailed papers to you that were returned, threaten you with court, "legal talk", and anything else to get you to pay. DON'T FALL FOR IT! I'm too smart to fall for scams, but unfortunately some people are not.

They may call from a different number, or different area code, and leave a message telling you to call them back at 855-468-6360. Again, they have a good scam going. Seems believable. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! The message will say they are calling from "Summary Services" or something of that nature.

its a payday loan scam.  after the "legitimate payday loan company" has written off the debt, these companies are somehow getting the loan information - including names, jobs, phone numbers, and trying to scare people into paying.  they are almost always located in NY. call the NY Attny General and file a complaint.  ask for documentation. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY WITHOUT PROOF OF A SIGNED LOAN AGREEMENT AND A LAWSUIT. if you actually get served, then contact a lawyer

If you are actually being served with papers they don't give you a "courtesy call", they would just show up. This is a scam, do not give out your information.

This is starting up again guys and now they are directing you to call 866 625 6433 and stating that they are pps have paperwork to serve notice of intent and that the only way to prevent that paperwork is to call them back. Stating that it has been received today and will mail out tomorrow. Totally sounded like a call center with tons of scam artists and if you notice they rush through the message because I'm sure they are also scamming tons others and getting through their quota. This world is sad please don't get involved. Like the irs or anything else "real" you would receive proper documents not a voicemail with a threat, had you needed to attend to something legal or financial. Although this forum helped me see it's happening to anyone and reinforced that it's a total scam, it's awful so many have been affected. I added my number long ago to the do not call registry apparently that was all for nothing.
