Repeated calls no one is on the line

After 2 rings on my cell, quit ringing. I live in Tx

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. Today, I received 2 calls within 2 hours! No message is left

Got two calls  finally answered the third. After I said hello several times, a very weirdly accented. I don't believe a real accent, but a made up one said "hello" then nothing.

Caller had an accent but didn't sound real, stated he was from Windows Geek Support.  This is a company owned laptop with an entire IT department.  Told the man I am working and he said he would "ring back" and hung up.

He had an Indian accent and said he was from Geek Support and there was a problem with my computer.  I told him it was a scam and hung up.

Indian accent from Micro Soft Geek Squad.  Wanted me to delete CSRSS.exe file with no user name from my task manager.  Sure it is a scam.

Man with accent said he was calling about computer. When I  asked what about it he said windows on computer.

Called my husband's phone, he did not answer, then immediately my cell phone rang. We are also in TX.

got two calls yesterday answered the first .no one on line. did not answer 2nd . had a call about 10 minutes ago . did not answer

Got one call about 10 minutes ago. No one on the line. I'm blocking them on my iPhone- sounds like a REAL creeper if you ask me- especially after reading everyone's posts! I also live in tx.

I've received 2 phone calls within 12 hours, did not answer, I am also from Texas, blocked the number on my iphone

just recv'd a call from this number - foreign accent. said they were calling about my computer... I hung up. tried calling the # back and recording said it was not a working #.

I just got the same call on my cell phone, same voice, saying he was from Windows and that my PC was infected. I live in TX. I told the guy I was sleeping. He kept asking me to get in front of my computer. I told him I was in bed to call back. Glad I check this out.

Some brainless, low-life, thief scammer trying to get you to go to showmypc.com so he can gain access to your computer, screw it up, steal your identity and charge you to fix it.
Had to play along with him long enough to waste as much of his time as possible and get him as pissed as I could.
When these [***] call, entertain yourself with them. Act concerned but dumb. Make sure you screw up alot because you're not computer literate and old. Be the perfect victim. Then, string them along and take up as much time as you can.
It's amazing how long they'll hang on when they think they have a good victim on the hook.
Then start asking them technical questions.
Ask them if they got their MCSE the same place you got yours.
I record them now. Too much fun bending the idiots over...

Talked for quite a while with the guy just for kicks. Claimed my "windows computer" was infected and wanted to help me fix it. When asked where he was located all he replied was, "Are you familiar with the phrase, Land of the free and home of the brave?" LOL. Weird. He got so frustrated with my questions. Started yelling at one point while I just waited. try to waste as much time of theirs as you can. Have fun frustrating these malicious snakes.
