Got a call from this number advising me that I had been served over the phone and that they were taking me to court...they also contacted my sister in another state...they are Alliance Solutions in Phoenix AZ they are a debt collector breaking the law with unfair collection practices.  They are not allowed to do this and I would suggest that everyone files a complaint with the AZ Attorney General

Some chick called my work yesterday and told my coworker that I am being served court papers and gave her some bogus case#, called, my cell phone, my house phone and my father-in-law and told him the same nonsense that they told my coworker. all in the same all in the same day .I don't know what to do. If they have my address and all these phone numbers, why won't they mail something in writing? They are causing problems in my household and I just don't know what to do!

They won't mail you anything because they are scammers!  NEVER pay a dime to anyone who calls you and says you owe this or that - always tell them they must (by law) send you a debt validation letter showing original creditor, the amount you owed that creditor etc.  If the debt is legitimately yours, then call the ORIGINAL creditor and make sure that they did turn over your account to said debt collector.  If a debt collector refuses to send any information via mail (not email or fax), then you can be sure they are scammers.

Anyone having these issues with Alliance should file complaints with the FTC and Consumer Protection Agency and their state attorney.  They are breaking the law, you cannot be served over the phone.  Also, when I called them they refused to give me their address so that I can send them a cease and desist letter.  They know they are breaking the law.  I called them and here I am I have not received anything in the mail.
