- Pudge replies to RobertHmmm....Not sure how you came up with FSCS..was that on the caller ID? I ask because call back got "TSG" and the rep told me they were a civil litigations service. Perhaps a fancy name for debt collector? Interesting that we seem to have three different IDs for this caller, LSG, FSCS and TSG.
I could not find an LSG collections nor an FSCS collections. There is an FCS collections but all the links on the website lead to a 404 error. TSG Collections, LLC comes up many times; e.g.

- MichaelReceived a call 6/16/26 from 412-228-4962 at 5:41 pm saying they were calling on behalf of Westmoreland County about a legal matter. Told me to call 855-486-0893 to speak to the agent from LCS (somethign like that) with the reference number 681-02140. That this is time sensitive. I did a PA Docket Search for any thing that could have been filed against me. I did the search from 2022 thru 06/16/26 and found only the two files from 2023 that I knew about and I am currently in the process of paying. This is startign to get ridiculous and thinkign about changing my number. not sure it will work. I received another call this morning from a sl;ightly differnt number 412-228-3820 stating the same thing.

- NLThey are now calling my family members saying they are trying to deliver documents pertaining to a civil complaint. The woman called my niece from (407) 204-9048 and asked her to tell me to call (855) 486-0893 and gave a case number. These tactics are insane.

- NimrodThis appears to be a "Fake Process Server" scam which is often a lead-in for a "Fake Debt" scam.
There are no letters, papers or documents, no court cases are going to be filed and no assets are going to be seized.
The message they leave is intended to instill enough concern in the intended victim that they will return the call. The goal of the scammers may be one or more of the following:- They may just be phishing for personal information, under the guise of verifying your identity, so they can use it for identity theft later.
- They may claim that you need to pay "processing fees" before they can serve the papers. Payment could be demanded through gift cards, cash transfer apps, or by requesting bank account information.
- The scammers might use this as a pretext to a "Fake Debt Scam" and will claim that there is some outstanding "debt" that they are trying to collect on. The claimed debt will usually be very old (beyond the Statute of Limitations) and a fairly sizeable sum. They will offer to let their victim settle the debt for a fraction of that amount and avoid being sued in court if they pay then and there over the phone. They will be very aggressive and try to browbeat and threaten the victim to make a payment. They will refuse to give any details about the debt beyond generalizations and will also refuse to agree to send any documents supporting their claim, often claiming that they were already sent at some earlier time.
Relatives of the intended victim and even employers (present and past) may be called in an effort to embarrass the victim into calling the scammers to get the calls to stop.
The best course of action is to ignore the calls and not return any call. If you have any doubts about being sued, call your local courthouse instead and have them check if anything has been filed against you, you will find the lack of results reassuring.
Remember that if you were really being sued, a real process server would not call you or a relative about papers needing to be delivered, they simply show up and serve the papers.

I called the number back because I got tired of them calling my family. The agent stated that I had taken out a payday loan with advanced something payday loans back in. 2018. I never taken out a payday loan and if I did I would always let them take it from my check. The agent even got my job wrong that I was working in 2018. She told me that they'd tried sending me offers to settle outside of court to my old address. I never received letters of any settlement and if I did they may have gotten lost in moving over the past 8 yrs. The agent advised that a processor is in the field and will be delivering the documents for me to sign today ( July 16th 2026) after 2 pm. Also she mentioned that I can call the number back to litigate through them. I put the number into Google search which led me to this forum. Reading other people's inquiries that are similar to mine I released that this could be a possible scam.
