Called very early in the morning (abit too early) and another family member answered it . Asked for me by first name , but left a message requesting me to call back , but left no info besides a telephone number  . Not sure if it was the  IT Business Edge calling , but Iam not calling the number back , as I have no or want any business or discussions from them . If they call again I'll just robo block  .

Sadly wrong, worked for them and it's legal policy. You could probably win a lawsuit if any marketing company calls you and claims they'll put you on their "Do Not Call List". Verbage is key in telemarketing, and if they call back after saying telling them to put you on that list verbatim they'd be in deep with the FCC.
They have lawyers and train employees to be as legally compliant as possible. Never say you're not interested, or take me off your list because they just disposition the call that you're not interested, and will call you back on the next reload of leads a couple months or sometimes just weeks down the road.

Oh and on the note of not leaving messages, it's company policy, they claim it's because they have no way to track if a voicemail is left and don't want to bombard a voicemail with dozens of messages.

Nope, all land lines are fair game even for scammers, unless you add it to the national do not call list. The way these slimy turds reach you is because you or someone else filled out information for your number and/or email on one of this companies websites.

Got a call this morning from an Indian-accented guy saying he was with IT Business Edge, caller ID showed up as "687-957-234". Greeted me by name, so he probably found me via my work's public staff listing webpage. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up immediately.

Two calls in a row from caller ID  '687957234' (missing digit). Both calls disconnected after 1st ring so I didn't get to answer.

Called several times today. Shows up as "687-957-234". I picked up the phone and quickly slammed it down. Satisfying.

A guy with a heavy Indian accent and a fake English name, trying to sell something. What did he sell? No idea... I could only make out 1/10 of the words he said.

A gentleman with an Indian accent called stating that his name was James Martin (right), and he was returning my call (another RIGHT).  I didn't identify myself, but asked what it was in regards to.  He started off by saying simply....IT.  I said, in regards to what IT?  IT is a broad subject area.  He said Dell Computers.  I said, in regards to what about Dell Computers.  Then he said....I am just returning her call.  She called me.  I asked for a number to have "her" call him back on, and then OF COURSE....He HUNG UP!  The number shows up as 687957234, missing a number.

Calls our corp headquarters seven, eight, nine times a day..all English no their first language folks... has employee names sometimes, but if not just asks for IT directors! Blah...annoying..

IT Business Edge is back at it again. My company does not allow switchboard and reception to transfer these calls. Callers are often rude and unprofessional. They have a slew of phone numbers they hide behind. I think we gave up after the 2031st entry into our nuisance call list for this 'company' and all of its constituents.
