Got this call at 7 AM!!  Yet another robo caller telling me my Microsoft devises will be shut off if I don't call them right away. I'm surprised that this scam is still going around. It's been going on for years now.

Received call but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. They left an automated voice mail message with a Microsoft "warning" that my "subscription to my Microsoft computer has expired today." Oh, give me a break!

Why can’t these calls be stopped? Seems like the “ do not call” list doesn’t prevent them.
    • Caller: Supposedly Microsoft “NOT”!

Received same call as above on Jan. 12 at 4:30 pm.  Robocall.  Would like to ask who they work for, and if I think anybody at Microsoft is trying to reach their customers via a robocall at 4:30 on Saturday afternoon.  I think not!!!

This call just a few min s ago .. I’m so sick of these calls non stop . I know there scams . Microsoft does not call and tell us our is  key is out dated ? At least I didn’t think so ? Plus been getting these calls for 3-4 years . Yes they did get me the first time for over 300.00 plus 4 years ago . But at least I was smart enough to say I had no credit cards ! Pay paled it and then put a stop on any other actions made by this company . Shane on me for being scared .
But I’m sick to death of these people what can I do ? Thank you Sincerly Debra

Look into a call blocker-preferably one that can block area codes or has a large capacity (or both).

The Microsoft robobot strikes again. Same as above telling me that my Microsoft computer expires today and I must call them back to prevent a shut down. Yeah right.  Good thing I didn't answer and let the machine pick up. Now, I can delete the message and block the caller. Not sure it will help as they will find a new number to call on.

This # called my home at 9:29 AM EST.  Didn't recognize # which was all that was displayed in my caller ID.  Came to 800notes to find info on caller.  Thank you to all who ID'd the call as the old Microsoft Scam...but it does sound as though they have put a new twist on it about the "key expiring."
