This person named Mark Banner sold me fake collectible postage stamps for $1900 dollars. He told me I should hold them for 2 years and then he would sell them for $5000. I sent them back and still haven't gotten my money back.
This fake company called Continental Collectibles.com in Las Vegas Nevada is a Big scam. Their other number is 855-395-6500. Don't believe them and don't buy anything from them. Especially U.S.Postage stamps that have errors or 100 year old U.S Postage stamps. They are all fake. This company should be closed down by the FBI for fraud and corruption.

They call me today, in CT Oct., 2, 2013. They asked for my brother specifically, when I asked who was calling the woman gave me her name. I said NO what company are you with? She again asked if I was my brother, I said NO, but if you tell me WHAT COMPANY YOU ARE WITH AND WHAT THIS CALL IS IN REFERENCE TO I MIGHT WANT TO GET HIM FOR YOU!!! she answered Oh we will just call back and hung up. This is no way to treat the public, especially if what you are doing is honest! Sorry but I will never waste my family's time with unidentified cryptic callers. You should all do the same. The number that called me was 855-395-6500.

I received a call from mark banner at continental collectibles (855-395-6500). He said he spoke to me 4 months ago about a 12,000 dollar investment opportunity. I told him I didn't remember a conversation with him and he hung up. I called back and ask him why and he said I obviously have too much time and no life to be calling back to inquire why he hung up. He told me we all live in America so we can do whatever we want.

Strikes me as odd that these 3 negative posts about Continental Collectibles from Ripped Off, Robert and Dan couldn't include last names, or specifics about so called bad experiences with this company as well.  I've been doing business with them for 2 yrs. with nothing but good results and experiences. Seems like someone is a little hatefull for personal reasons rather than real reasons. I've included my first and last name. I am part owner of a Popeyes Chicken in Athens, G.A right on Prince Ave. If anyone is considering doing business with this company you are welcome to stop by anytime or even call me, since obviously anyone can say anything about anybody on these type of forums. That's the internet for you, LOL..... Thank you Continental Collectibles & Marc for all you have done for me!!

This company regularly calls our business looking for the owner even though the owner has directly told them he is not interested and to please refrain from calling again multiple times. Every time the caller is unwilling to identify themselves to the secretary when calling and just continues to ask to speak to the owner. It is incredibly frustrating to waste our time dealing with these unsolicited phone calls on a weekly basis (if not more often). I have no problem with them doing business but wish they would honor requests to be put on their do not call list.

INVESTMENT STAMP SCAM AlLERT!!! Give me a break. Do you really think people believe you? You obviously know these people and most likely are involved in the scam. These people call your home 2-3 a week for months until you pick up the phone- then pester you to speak to a particular occupant . I know they are a fraudulent business they state they spoke specifically with you about giving you the wrong price when they called 4 months back..(sound familiar?) look at other reviews...4 months seems to be the line they use..plus I am the home owner and have never spoken to anyone on the phone about investment stamps...although I have over 40 calls on my ID from this company. Anyone reading this buyer beware Nd don't be a fool and give your personal information over the phone... What a joke

SCAM ALERT! Buyer beware. This company has been calling my house relentlesly for months now insisting they spoke to me 4 months ago about investing in stamps. They claim I said the price wasn't right last time we spoke. The only thing I did 4 months ago is hang up the phone every time they call. Which is every two days sometimes twice a day. I finally decided to speak to someone after getting sick of hearing the phone ring. They are vague and will not answer questions only asking for another member of the household - only saying she was from classic. Upon hanging up I looked up the telephone number and found that is was some type of collective stamp company- and then upon further research found out they are a scam. Do your research and avoid this "fake" company at all costs. BEWARE!

I just got a call about three minutes ago from the same number t855-395-6500.
Classic Collectibles is what the business name he used. Seems people are getting smart on the continental collectibles so they change the name. Is that it?
Or what are the odds of having the identical number?
I'm starting to believe that the part owner of Popeyes chicken is also part owner of Continental collectibles and classic collectibles.
I think the latter has better odds. You think all these people made that story up and they all match do you think they're related do you think they know each other, etc?
I think you only fool here is the one losing money by these comments being posted.
By the way my last name is on here if you would like to comment to my post you can stop by my business and talk to me.

I just got a similar call from "Classic Collectibles" in Nevada. A quick Google search shows them at the same 2626 S Rainbow Blvd address as Continental Collectibles, Global Collectibles, and North American Collectibles, and just down the street from 21st Century Collectibles. Every one of the personalities of this multiple-personality-disorder company sells stamps and has scam reports for them online. I got the same pitch as everyone else: allegedly called me 5 months ago (which they never did); I can get the last two collectible postage stamps with perforation errors for $1900 each; will make lots of money in a few years; I can refund on my credit card within 30 days; been in business for 30 years; etc. It appears that their scam is to get you to hold onto the stamp(s) until it's too late to refund (they can legit tell the credit card company that they sent you the stamp), then string you out waiting for them to sell it for you, which never happens.

I am a business owner in Houston, TX received the exact sane spill about 4 months have past since we last spoke.  Offing to sell a rare stamp for $1,900.00 the more I said NO the more Michael Stone insisted I am passing up a golden opportunity.  Mr. Stone kept call pursuing the deal and insisting.  First I would like to thank you all you for up loading your experiences with this supposed company especially Mr. Rick.   In a word SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous, is there any way to recoup losses? I was taken for $4k when I purchased from Grand Continent Collectibles and Barrington Chase.
