Spoofed number! Scammers! Do not answer! They are pretending to be cdc trying to get private info from you and your family!!!   They ar pretending to be something they are not!!!

To the person above who wrote that if we dont answer , they will keep calling.  You work for the fake company that spoofs their number and co-erces people to give very very sensitive info to them!!

Never answer calls from scammers, especially those trying to get personal info from you and your loved ones!  They will not stop calling if i repeat if you answer scam calls from unknown numbers, then they will know  your number is good and will repeatedly call you.   Dont answer and block the number.  Problem solved!

Moonbeam2 WORKS FOR THE SCAMMERS!  lol he is trying to get you and other poor naive people to answer the call.
LAME reverse psychology.  :/   DONT EVER ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS.  THERE IS A THING CALLED SPOOFING NUMBERS, PLEASE LOOK IT UP AND LEARN.  IF YOU SEE ON YOUR CALLER ID A CALL FROM A KNOWN COMPANY OR BANK, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT IS WHO IS CALLING YOU.  SPOOFING IS WHERE LOSERS TAKE AN ACTUAL LEGITIMATE COMPANIES NAME AND NUMBER AND THAT APPEARS ON PEOPLE'S CALLER ID.   TO TRICK PEOPLE.  ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO GO ONLINE AND LOOK FOR OFFICIAL NUMBERS for yourself, then call the official companies if in another case you think your bank called etc.      never answer calls and never call back numbers you dont recognize! just block them! :)

Please do not types in all CAPITAL letters as this translates into YELLING and does offend people, and when you yell, people have a tendency to not listen to what you are saying and you look and sound like a fool.

    Yes, Heinz is correct ,Steve.

When one uses caps locks, for some strange and weird reason some people think of it as yelling tee hee.

Anyhow, on the other hand, Steve, you are actually correct in what you shared with the rest of us.
I see you've received 3 negs ;)  lol   I'm going to assume that you have succeeded in hitting a nerve (or3) with your comment.

I'm a pretty good judge of character, and I'm rather observant as well.
I see the logic in your response and opinion, and to me those who would sway people to actually answer the annoying telemarketer calls, would most obviously be the telemarketers themselves.  lol
Best wishes to you and yours and kindly refrain from using caplocks.
Oops, one more thing, I wholeheartedly agree with you and I as well, do block suspecting calls and my entire family and my friends know not to answer calls.  That is a given they will call me back if I answer the call , and if I call them back, they will continue to call.
    lol
    :)

I received a call from this number yesterday evening. 11/4/16 @ 8:21 pm.

I didn't answer and they failed to leave a message on my answering machine.

I'm assuming it is a telemarketer based on other reviews on various websites as well.
Hope everyone has a good week end!
    :)

It's the CDC doing a survey on sexual health/violence -- the questions were very personal and
    disturbing.

    Hi D,
How do we know that these calls are in fact the cdc?  They call and never leave a voicemail.
No name appears on my caller ID either.   I'm sincerely wondering this, how come you answered the call and why did you give them private and personal information?  I'm sorry, I genuinely want to know.
I refuse to ever answer any calls from them let alone from someone whom I don't recognize calling me from an unknown caller.

Total times they've called us, 4 times thus far.
We have blocked them 2 calls ago.
They called us again last night around 7pm.

This tel. number called us again last night, around 7pm.
We blocked their tel. number after the 2nd time they called us.
No name appears on our caller ID nor do they leave a message.
I'm starting to wonder who they really are.  :/

The first call left me a VM with a request with a  number to call for an appointment.  They give several numbers that can be cross referenced during the interview  I declined the $10.  Google cdc and ask them...

Just a warning, I blocked this number and they changed it to a new phone number. 8553223039.
The CDC does do surveys, but they inform you by mail that youve been selected for one. They also will stop calling if you tell them to.
This caller is definitely not with the CDC. You can go to their website and they have all their phone numbers listed that would be contacting you.

When they phoned, I could barely hear the lady.  Presumed she was a telemarketer and before she could continue, I asked her to place us on their do not call list.  She said "we don't have such a list."  I told her firmly, "I do not want you to phone our telephone number again."  She said she'd make a note of it and she hung up on me.  Seriously?  What do you mean you don't have a do not call list.  If they don't stop harassing us with repeated unwanted phone calls, I'll figure out who they are.  And, if they are U.S. based, I will file complaints both local and federal to make them cease and desist.  The lady sounded American to me and it did not seem like a foreign call center.   Seems to me like I shouldn't have to tolerate repeated unwanted phone calls.  ln my opinion, wouldn't that constitute illegal harassment and be subject to fine or penalty?
