Called me once today left no message

I got call and it was a CDC (Center for Disease Control) survey

I got the phone call from this number late last night. They are a survey company for the CDC. I felt very uncomfortable answering their questions but continued just to find out what they want so I could warn others. If you don't want to relive some very unfortunate events in your life, please just tell them you do not want to participate. I have left a message with their call back number, 877-287-3782, and left a message for them to call me back and still have not received a return call.

I have received a few calls from # 855-500-1441 I don't answer calls when I don't recognize the number. They don't leave a message.

Did not answer as the number was unfamiliar.

Caller left no message after calling on three separate evenings around 9pm.

I returned the call, pressed "1" for English, pressed "1" to talk to a survey operator, and was going to tell them I don't want to participate. That calling a cell phone like that doesn't make the caller seem legitimate and I'm not giving personal information out over the phone. That they should advertise through known media if they're going to call like that so people know to expect it, otherwise it's harrassing

But I'm not sure if an operator ever heard me. After 8 minutes, there was some static that sounded like a woman's call center voice cutting in and out, so I hung up without speaking with anyone. There was no waiting music or anything.

Calls my cell phone repeatedly. No message.  I do not answer.  My cell phone is used for emergencies only and the number has not been given out.  Must be a random number generator.

Has called me over 12 times in the last 2.5 weeks.  They said they are doing a CDC survey and I felt uncomfortable with the questions so I declined to participate.  I have now asked them at least 4 times to stop calling me and that I did not want to participate in their "CDC survey".  They still continue to call me once, and now the last couples days, twice a day.  I think I will be blocking their phone number.

Similar story as the others here. Caller refuses to take "no thanks" for an answer, refuses to acknowledge previous "do not call" instructions.  I have a hard time believing that the real CDC would engage in this level of pushiness for a survey. Also hard to believe that if someone is using CDC's name in an unauthorized way, that they would be allowed to continue doing so for this long, and that we would not have heard about it.  

CDC could mean anything, not just Centers for Disease Control.  At no time did the caller say the full name.

The CDC website does indicate that they conduct several different types of surveys, including some that are done over cell and landlines. Regardless, they need to stop calling after I tell them no, thanks.

And still they persist.

And in spite of the inference that if you don't participate you are shirking your "civic duty" (which I find both offensive and frightening) I called both the listed numbers in the story and requested to the automated answering machine(s) that all of my telephone numbers be removed from their list. I may have invited more harassment but time will tell, and I got some great ideas to skew their survey results if they persist.

Let's see, I have had malaria, influenza, Ebola, typhoid, small pox...and that's this year....been a good year...last year was worse...

If we all tell them Bull Feces then maybe they will learn to do this responsibly. I would never have answered their questions unless I was completely convinced it was legitimate and anonymous. There is NOTHING that should be more private than your health records. If the IRS can be politicized to supress opposition organizations, then it can be used to suppress individuals as easily. And you enforces the ACA requirements? The IRS. Strange choice, that one.

These idiots are relentless. Call after call after call. I blocked them but they still try and call anyway.

I started receiving calls on my cell from this number about 3 weeks ago, and made the mistake of answering last week. I usually don't pick up if I don't recognize the number. I asked how they got my number because my cell is private. She said it was randomly generated and wanted me to take a CDC survey. I said I didn't have time for the survey and asked that my number be removed from their call base, adding that I didn't believe the call was "random" because I had been called more than once per day for several weeks. I have been called from this number at least once each day since then and twice yesterday.

They just called me the third time today and I didnt answer this time because the previous two times I have told them I am noy yet 18 and they still insist on calling me over and over.  Very annoying!

They kept calling 15 - 20 times at the most inconvenient times. I answered it several times and told them that I did not have 30 minutes to spend on the phone with them. When I stopped answering this number, they called on 877 294 1302. I ended up doing the survey just to get them off my back. Very intrusive and personal questions. I now feel very harassed and even violated. Who are these people? When I call the number back, no one answers.
