- anonymousI pressed 1 to talk to a 'representative' who told me her name was Nancy, and claimed she was with the Waneri Law Group (spelling is probably wrong, I sounded it out) and they can help me get a lower rate credit card - Initially, this was a computer message asking if I had got turned down for a credit card, etc....
They called on April 7th, at 3:48pm- Call type: Telemarketer
- another posterthey left no message. only phone number comes up on caller id, no name of who/what. i called it and let it ring about 5 minutes and no answer and it just stopped ringing and hung up which i found interesting, like someone grabbed the line and disconnected it. THIS IS A SCAMMER.
- DavidThis number called my home, cell and business and left no message. This happened right after I declined to buy an ad from US directory.
- Call type: Telemarketer

- SigfredAugust 2014.. Another 'No name caller... 855-500-2635...... two three rings at my office, grabbed it to hear silence.... not sure who was calling , or for what,, but it appears like it was a marketing call.. And I'm on the 'DO NOT CALL' unless you want to list.. WHat a Joke that do not call was.. and who was behind that.. the FCC.. they're doing about as good as can be with out direction and a rudderless government.. What a mess...
- PatrickAutomated message about business leads. Spoke with the rep who stated they provide customers for business.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AnonymousCalled three times in quick succession, with literally less than 5 seconds between, each time I directed the call to voice mail.
- johnphone rang this number appeared, didn't know it so i don't answer, they left no message so i looked the number up only to find it most likely is some kind of fraud. i will not be answering this number in any future call and neither should you.

- c| 1 replyPlease stop calling me. I don't have anything to do with your business.
- Slim replies to cWhy do you think WE are calling you?
This is a discussion forum where one can report or describe suspicious or unknown phone calls, but reporting them here does not stop the calling. YOU have to take action to do that! (google is your friend). Consider buying a call blocker from your favorite store if nothing else works. - tonyrdc replies to Va BeachI got a call from the same number, I didn't answer because I was talking to someone else. When I called back 15 minutes later I got an answer that the number has been disconnected. How can that be? What do these spamers have to gain by being able to erase their tracks? I have also had other calls from different area codes, but a prefix of 555, same thing!
- TedGot a call from this number. Probably a sales call. I had a Craigslist add that ran. They probably got my number from the ad. I have not used that number anywhere else.
- AndrewMy suggestion would be to not ever call back a number you do not recognize. There is a scam where as a number will call you and hope you do not answer, only to call them back with your chest puffed out because you are going to tell them who's boss... Right? Wrong! When you call them back, it's not a toll free number and you are charged a ridiculous amount. It can happen with 1800 numbers too.... Don't assume that just because they called you, that it's safe for you to call them!
Also, I'm not sure how accurate this next piece is because I just made it up in my head, but sounds logical.... I'd presume that if you call a number back, it gives grounds for them ignoring the do not call list. Though the list is a joke, some of the calls that seep thru May be a direct effect of you calling everyone back that calls you.
If they don't leave a message, [***] em. Why feel the need to call them back? None of "us" got anywhere doing so.
Advice for the future. Get angry because I may of offended you, or take my advice as if I'm someone you don't know just trying to put in his two cents.
Love you guys..... Lol- Caller: Dick suckers ananomous inc. llc.org
- JGCalled my cell while I was unavailable, left no message. Did not attempt to call the number back. Unknown number and whatever they want or have to sell I don't care and I don't want.
