Called, Left a automated message, Providing a reference number. Sounds like a debt collector of some sorts.

I answered the call and said hello 4 to 5 times and they hung up.

Called and asked for my first name and the wrong last name... I said sorry wrong number

Call saying they're collecting a medical bill. Would not give me any other information and less I gave them my date of birth and address. Hung up.

I'm assuming that they are a debt collector. They called and hung up and I'll return the call to get the name of the company. Medical of some sort

Silent on the phone no response. So I stop answering the call.

Caller ID said SCHUMACHERCLIN.  I answered and a woman started talking in what may have been a language other than English.  When I said I didn't understand any of that she started speaking English with an African American accent so I could understand her.  She said there was an unpaid medical bill and wanted my birth date.  I told her I wouldn't give that information to someone that called me and I asked who the provider was on the bill that was overdue.  She refused to give me the information without the birth date so I said we were at an impasse and hung up.

This call may not have been a scam. I looked up Schumacher Clinical Partners on the web and called their number 888-703-3301 and was able to verify that they were billing for a doctor I had seen.  I hadn't seen the bill yet but it lined up exactly (invoice number and amounts) with one I have been expecting based on my insurance explanation of benefits.  I can't say that someone didn't hack their database and make the original call, so if you get a call like this I would suggest calling the number on their webpage.  I gave my last name and address and they were able to find my info.

I do believe this number is calling me about a medical bill.  The bill is with Schumacher.  I have paid medical bills to them in the past and have a current bill with them, so they are a legitimate billing service.  I have not paid my bill in full yet, so I could understand getting a phone call from them.  What I DON'T understand is answering "hello" multiple times and then the call dropping.  I SORT OF understand them not leaving a message when I miss their call because I think that could have something to do with HIPPA/privacy - I've had to sign permission for doctors' offices to leave messages before.  I would return the call, but based on other things I have read about others who have actually spoken with someone from this number, I am wary.

Calls repeatedly, never leaves message. Call back, computer says please wait for the next available representative, then disconnects.

Definitely calling regarding a doctor's bill for my daughter and a legitimate company.

It is Schumacher they do billing for doctors not a collection.  Be careful they don’t honor the agreed amount to bill to insurance.  I got a bill for 1500 when it should have been 200.  Make sure you are looking at your insurance statement regarding what shiould be paid.  They don’t honor agreed upon prices with the insurance company.  They are over changing clients on behalf of the Drs they represent.  Happened to us twice!

The call I received was a phishing expedition. Attempt was made to obtain my date of bith before discussing an invoice. I have no bills with Schumacher and never did. That is not my relationshipcwith the company. I have notified them of the issue. The above number is not one they have ever used to contact me.

I didn’t answer- but I called back.   They asked to confirm my name (they had my correct name) ... then asked for my birthday and I asked them who they were with and why they needed my birthday- she said that she couldn’t verify my account unless I gave my date of birth.  She said they were a medical collections company- I told her that I pay all my bills and that I would not give any of my personal information out
