Left text msg on my cell phone (from 67076) that this was Ava from ASR and that I was preapproved for student loan forgiveness and to call 855-500-9007 to finalize if I was still interested or to reply STOP to opt out. Since I have NEVER had a student loan, I know this a SCAM and I did not bother to reply at all. I don't need to confirm this is a valid cell phone number.

I just received the same text message however I do have a student loan.. I wonder is it legit or a scam!

Got a text from this number five minuets ago with the name, number, opt out message as Alys above. A cursory Google search says that there are several student loan aid outfits that go by ASR, but other scam number logging sites are saying this specific number has been confirmed to be a shill.

This is Ava from ASR.  You were preapproved for student loan forgiveness, are you still interested?  Please call to finalize @ 855-500-9005.  Reply STOP to opt out

Never had a student loan plus they're spoofing the CID so this is a scam.

Rec'd txt msg from 243-203-0243 which read similar:   "Your preapproval for student loan forgiveness will expire this week. We need you to call us at 855-500-9007 to finalize it unless you are no longer interested."

I don't have any student loans.  I believe this is spam txt using a spoof number.

Junk text stating: Hi, it's Gary from ASR. We had you preapproved for studen loan forgiveness but never heard back from you. Still interested? Call me @ 855-500-9007, if so.
