Lady was rude and claiming i have court papers waiting to be served. I don't get in trouble .lady claimed her name was Ashley reed or something like that

I’ve  been getting calls from an unknown #... Answered today and “Stacey” said officers have to trying to serve me (which is untrue bc there is ALWAYS someone @ our home). Then stated she was w/ the __ County Dispatch. Well, problem is SHE MISPRONOUNCED THE COUNTY’S NAME!!  So I let her go on and wrote down the info she gave. When I asked her for a local number, she told me that was the only number listed on the documents. Odd, bc there are local numbers (plural —bc every Dept has their own separate #)! Then I had her repeat the county name 3 times. She pronounced it the same way every single time... Informed her that NO ONE says it that way and asked if she was really from there. She proceeded then to tell me that I could call or not but that she was not going to go in circles w/ me. I said “Well it just seems odd that you’re not pronouncing the county correctly for someone who lives/works here. And it’s even more odd that you say officers have been by my house when there is ALLLLLLWAYS someone there. And in this county, they will drive by all day/night if they have any type summons for someone, no matter how small a matter it may be.” She then got I’ll and said she was done talking w/ me & would be notating that she spoke w/ me. 🙄🙄

They called a relative of mine.  Said that I was receiving a court summons.  Scam city.

Court summons documents or something. Basically the same thing as HDWD posted above. No idea what its about. Most likely a scam.

I answered a unknown number they explained that I have a civical summons to appear in court that they tried to find me and this was the last attempt to server me the summons by calling1-855-500-9643 if I didn’t call a warrant would be issued. I called and the company name they answered by was Meridian group legal deptment. None of this makes any kind of reason to why they are contacting me. It sounds to me like a scam or something like that. I’m worried that a warrant has been issued for no reason.

Warrants are issued for criminal matters.  Not paying a bill is a civil matter.  This is nothing more than a debt collection/process server extortion scam.

I just got the Same call weird I have nothing that is in Court or cases

They called a company my husband worked at years ago claiming they were going to server him a summons from Wells Fargo for him to appear in court. The man claimed he was a lawyer and stated he was not calling to debate or make any deals. That my husband owed an amount and had to pay. He closed his WF account over 15 years ago..... Scam

Actually this was a call from 888-3744849.
But claimed from the Merridan Group.
Said they would tell me any information about serves documents until I verified my name and last 4 of my social. I said my name but didn’t verify my last 4. I said I need to know who is serving me and more info and person by the name Nathan said well I’m not telling u anything if you don’t and I said great then he hung up! Yes sure if this was legitimate no one is going to hang up on you! Scam. I’m really upset bc somehow they got a parents cell number and called them too.
