Lisa called a family member stating that I was being investigated for check fraud.  left a case number.  Harassing statements.  Report to FBI.  Cross Ref:  phone # 855-533-8881 = 2 complaints same time frame

The same happened to me at my company and then they tried to call my cell phone. How do I block them?

Angela - I do not know of a way to STOP THEM!   They call my employer also and say these crazy things trying to falsely incriminate me.   I think my information was breached when applying for a loan online.   The loan co. sold my information or the account was hacked.   They have my information and scare family members into giving their credit card or banking information.  They took $800 from my elderly mother.   Warnings are posted on the FBI, BBB, and attorney general websites and the media is starting to report these stories.   These fraudsters are very GOOD and convincing.   They are also "Virtual Ghosts" using internet phone devices which are not traceable.   Good luck to you.  File a complaint online at FBI - Internet Crimes or with BBB and FTC if possible.

See - http://acsisascam.blogspot.com.   I called around 6:30pm CT and got a recorded message.  Office of ACS [and other names sounding like legal entities].  They are extortionists preying on uninformed persons and they will harass you, your relatives, and your employer trying to steal your money.   Linked to illegal overseas operations.  DO NOT TALK TO THEM OR PAY THEM ANY AMOUNT.  They will keep coming after you.   Tell your employer you are a victim of identity theft and extortion and report to FBI, Attorney General, and Secret Service.
