Received call with a recording stating that a process server would be out to serve a court summons within 24 hours....called the number back, and asked the company name...Legal Solutions (I think). Asked what city and state their main office is in...the lady replied that they are all over.....when I re-asked the question she hung up on me......sounds like a Scam.

Charles Clay recorded message saying someone would be at my home within 24 hours or at my place of employment with a summons to appear at court and that I would need to be available with two forms of ID and if it was at my place of employment I would need my supervisor available as a witness there is no company name and the phone number they tell you to call back in the same phone number that they call you on 1-844-952-7357 they claim to be calling from legal carrier services.  But the original call came from 855-504-4763.
Look up the phone number 844-982-7357 and you will find more comments from other people who received the same call.
Very interesting and I am assuming that all of us who received this message do not live in  the same state.  Charles really must be super busy and have a nice company to pay for cross the state travel expenses.

Charles clay also called my phone left a message no addressing anyone I'm particular saying he would come to my place of employment or residence. Very threatening and probably illegal! !

This is a new phone I have A 1 credit a crystal clean record and I get a phone call from this number???

Got the same message on my voicemail saying he us Charles Clay and he has a summons that is going out in 24 hours to make myself available with two forms of I.D. etc. Phone numbers the same as Mama Sy's post above.

So the messages I get are the same, I counter them by posting thier number to facebook and play scam the scammers......they get real real pissed and it works, have done it to other callers claimimg the same threats from other phone numbers and they go down and out of service....they even tried to tell me they were holding my mother in law ( Sh passed away 13 years ago)

I got the same call man started downing me and then pulled my credit without my permission and then left a voicemail. But his name was Daniel benson.  The name on the number I call back is johnThan Cummings. But says his name is Daniel.

This is a violation of the FDCPA if this is a debt collector. So either way, if it's a scam or a debt collector I wouldn't worry about it.

Real process servers do NOT call ahead - they just show up, unannounced.  This is a scam - block the number.

Better yet tell them you will meet them at the local sheriff's office.

They can't call and threaten to serve you with anything. Check your statue of limitations in your state and I will bet you that the debt they are collecting is out of the statue of limitations guidelines. They are bullies and nothing more. With the way the economy is today they are part of the problem them and payday loans. If it is written off of your credit it is pretty much written off on their books as an uncollected debt anyway--these scavenger debt people are all the same. they should be outlawed and done away with. I just block their numbers...and don't feel bad about it whatsoever!!

I got the same message this AM. Scary...but I am glad I googled this. Nice scam. I also thought that processors just showed up with out warning-that's how they actually get you. When I called back the # he left it was not in use. Thanks for everyone's input. I will pass it along....
