- Mr. MagicThese [***] called twice today telling me 2 finish compelte a package I didn't even apply 4. This BS happens when u apply online 4 a job. They call me again, I'm going 2 tell them my name is Barack Obama and I live at 1600 w penn sw Washington Dc. I hate telemarketers who claim 2 b "agent Jack Cooper" and are eastern Asian and tell me the county just put a lien on my house and if I don't pay "IRS AGENT JACK COOPER" 2500 dollars in 2 hours, the County Sheriff and my town's police will be at my house 2 arrest me. that was 2months ago, Jack, I'm waiting. Telemarketing, prostution, advertising and being a lawyer are the oldest jobs in the world but, Telemarketers are the worst, ignorant, ingrate sobs in the world.

- Mr. MagicAbout 2-3 years ago when I was at work, some [***] called telling me his name was "John Marshall" a prominent lawyer from Sacramento, CA and, if I didn't send him $3000 dollars in 2hrs, my brother and I would be arrested 4 something I can't remember but, he was extremely rude and arrogant and threating me also I told him I would kick his [***] "when I get out of Jail" and that usually gets them going more but, it must have been the way I said it because he got scared. I decided later that day 2 call that # back and this time it was "DR JOHN MARSHALL" w/a eastern Indian accent. These Scammers and Telemarketing companies could go 2 hell.
- Cheri AitkenPlease stop calling
- stonerPlease do not call again
- sick of itI get these calls everyday. I didn't answer today. I called back and started cussing. Told them I'm on no call list and if they keep calling me I am going to sue them and that I would keep calling them everyday and cuss them out. Everyone should do this. Sure shocked her when I just went off on her, when she answered, yea same lady that made call to me on numerous other times. I don't think there are about 2ppl in that office, either that same lau and one guy

- Daniel not in the lions den. This person called and asked for my wife. He would not identify himself when asked. Called him back, would not answer. I guess he must have a speech impediment but I don't know. I hope he is OK and will be able to continue irritatatatating people.
- Annoyed and curiousI tried to get a job at Freedom Mortgage. I was given a start date and the employment package was sent to me via email as they are Paperless. The next day I get a call from Steve Conners at Freedom mortgage (so I save the contact number with his name and company) and Steve tells me there's a major misunderstanding and that I'm not hired. The following day his name and number comes up and it's a woman with a heavy accent claiming to have received my resume from the Internet. I tell her she comes up on my phone as Steve Conners from Freedom mortgage. She says "that's funny" and goes into her routine, claims to have found a customer service job (at the crazy hourly rate I told her I needed) and low and behold, she says "I found the perfect job for you and I'll send the application package (which never came) via email. I call the woman at Freedom mortgage that hired me and forward Steve Conners email and she said she will look into it. No response from the hiring woman. Just the strange phone call from Freedom mortgage's phone number for Steve Conners and a heavily accented woman that claims she's from another company. Something very fishy going on here.

- Golfgirl replies to teresaHi,
I agree. I have been doing the same thing trying to find a job and I get the same calls. I don't like putting applications on line for that very reason. - April| 1 replyI wish these people would quit calling me I have like 10 a day!!!!
- Tamianth replies to AprilConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I just started getting these calls this morning after making the mistake of "applying" for one of their jobs, and then remembered why the site's name sounded familiar: they were a lead source when I worked for a for-profit college. If you get a person on the line when you answer, tell them you want to be placed on their Do Not Call list and that you do not want them giving your information to any other sources.
