Received a phone call from Amy Brooks who said a complaint about me had reached their office for possible legal action.  They asked me to call the company that issued the complaint, provided a phone number and file number for me to use.  Only thing is she never mentioned what office she was calling from, or the company name that issued the complaint.  Oh , and there was about a 6 seconds before she began to leave the message where I could hear others in the background saying the same thing she told me. Don't know if this is a scam or debt collector to be honest.  It really doesn't sound legit.

I had almost the same exact thing happen to me. A Monica was looking for me to "serve" me papers over a defunct checking account I had from 10 years ago. I was then put on contact with a Joshua Hansen who works for Springfield and Associates, which I cannot find any information about at all. Hmmmm seems phishy! Also, they sent me an email to pay off my debt with DocuSign via credit card... I dont [***] think so!

It's a total scam. Debt collection scammers. BEWARE!!

just recieved a call from a restricted phone number. the woman claimed that she was calling to comfirm that I would be home tomorrow between the hours of 10 and 2 because someone would be dropping off "legal" papers to my home address. She even mentioned the county that I live in. When I told here that there is no legal accusation against me and that nobody should be coming to my house she gave me this number and a "file number" to contact claiming that they can tell me what it is in regard to. (855-517-3388) this has to be a scam.

I agree that this has to be a scam.  My real concern, and I don't know how they did it, they somehow got my daughters number and have been calling her trying to locate me.  I actually called, and spoke to this Joshua person.  He claimed that there is a civil judgment against me.  But wouldn't I have seen something before a judgment?  I have turned this over to my own attorney and he says SCAM!!!

Nancy Clark called and said there was a complaint file regarding my son.   He has not lived with me over 10 years now.   Will not call the number.  Scam
